Acushnet River Valley Golf Course

I teed off right when they had opened at 7. There was maintenance crew on every hole, either mowing the greens, or using a leaf blower on the tees and or greens. It was a very annoying round, and not relaxing at all. I understand that they need to take care of the course, but listening to leaf blowers for 3 hours is pretty miserable. They had also thatched the greens or something, so that they had weird ridges in them, and putted ridiculously slow and your putt would never hold its line. The greens here are usually pretty good, so this round was definitely a disappointment.

Course was in excellent condition. Fairways great and greens were immaculate. Played this course in the past and can see improvements that have been made. Would definitely play it again and definitely would recommend it to others.

I think this course is a hidden gem. Great regular price and this course is is great condition. The back 9 is a Links style layout compared to the front 9. This course gives you two different types of play and is an excellent choice for all levels of golfers. I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s evem worth the 1hr drive for me.

My wife and I play here at least once a year and have always enjoyed play here but the pace of play what awful. We ended up quitting our round on the 12th hole, it had taken 3 hours to play. We didn't see any rangers, I don't think they have one. We did see almost three groups of players on most holes.

A beautiful and challenging course.Front nine is tree lined and flowing,the back nine is like a link course,long holes,wide fairways.

Acushnet River Valley is one of the best values anywhere. $39 everyday after 1 p.m. for 18 holes and cart. That's almost unheard of. At that price point you wouldn't expect much, but the course is in really good shape. The greens are awesome and the layout makes it a fun round. Some real memorable holes and shots here. The only issue - after 1 p.m. it's a total free-for-all on the first tee. If you come at the wrong time, it could be a 5-6 hour round.

Like to play fast. Got first tee time in the morning and finished round in around 3 hours 15 minutes. Held up slightly on back but otherwise smooth. Course in very good shape. Typically plays without too many difficulties...an occasional hard pin placement. Tremendous value for the money. Bare bones clubhouse...no matter. Friendly staff.

While the “clubhouse” doesn’t have anything to recommend it, the course is worth the visit. The front nine plays tight and the back nine plays like a links course. Together, they make for an enjoyable round that will make you want to come back again and again.

Really enjoyed playing this course. I hadn’t played the course in a couple years and will be back to play it soon. Great layout and conditions were excellent except greens were slow because of required aeration.

despite heavy rain for about 24 hrs course in good shape some puddles in bunkers,but rain did not stop until about 2hrs before we played. fairways& greens mowed and very nice & course cleaned up very well after storms. Just wish they would build a clubhouse
