If you've never played here you are missing out. The course is in outstanding condition and plays well. Challenging and fun. If you have a chance, play here.

Acushnet River Valley is both beautiful and challenging. The course layout is very good and the course itself is in excellent condition!

Great Course but Slow Play
I would rate this higher but the play is too slow. On a Monday it took nearly 5 hours for a 4 some with several 2 somes ahead. There are too many underskilled players. The pro shop is too small and underserved. Food and beverage are handled by the same staff who take your tee time. The course was in great shape but i was constantly repairing divots on the greens.
