Acushnet River Valley Golf Course

Called the Pro shop prior to booking, told me that they aerated a month ago then told me earliest teatime would be 1:00 PM so I booked. Never told me there would be a league going out .

Showed up at the course paid green fees and noticed that they were punching the greens. Then was told on the first T that we needed to jump to hole 10 at exactly 320 because there would be a league coming out and we need to get ahead of the league. Then we’re told we should probably go earlier because the leagues like to start earlier!!

What an absolute joke. Starters and Rangers could not explain anything saying that they had no control and that they were actually going to leave the course.. So beware when you book. Absolutely total rip off. Afternoon league takes precedence over paying public in the afternoon after you’ve paid for 18 holes. Be sure to call and get all the details before you boo.

Called pro shop prior to book and asked about aeration said it was already done a month ago then asked what was the next available time for a four ball they said 1 o’clock so I booked it. We get there and they’re actually aerating greens . Then on the first hole the Ranger says we need to jump to hole 10 no matter where we are at 3:20 because the leagues will go out, then he also says that the league likes to get out early so we should probably get to the 10th as soon as possible!’

They did not mention that there was a league when I called nor did they mention it when we actually paid at the course. Total scam they take your money and they have no remorse or any sort of explanation stay away !! Be sure to call and ask many questions before you book. And this isn’t the first time I should’ve learned from last year when they pulled this kind of stunt.

First time and definitely won't be the last! Fun little course with some brain challenging holes. Great condition!

This is a great course every hole is a new challenge. The fairways are very forgiving the greens were fast and true and as usual for me I was on the beach alot but manged to save few. This will be another course that I will play again for sure the price cant be beat.

Played Achushnet River Valley for the first time. Great layout of holes ,green speed was perfect for public golf. Bunkers need a little attention, but from tee to green was in good condition. Will be back to play again soon.

Played in a foursome on a very packed tee sheet. Honestly thought they could have spread the times out a bit more as we waited on every hole. some holes were 10 mins or more to tee off..

Overall course is in fantastic condition. They are making improvements around the edges and seeding a lot of new areas with some new cart Paths.

Great value after 12pm!!!

this is always one of our must play courses.its in great shape and the price is a bargain.

But it keeps the.course in pristine condition

I’m grateful to Play a lot of golf around Boston with Some of the best golf courses in America, this is the best course for the money by far.
