Very Irresponsible Course Management & Coordination
So many things went wrong on this course involving the Starter, Course Marshall, and Clubhouse so I will create a list rather than paint a story.
- Course does not have "quick snacks" as most public courses I've played (hot dogs, grab-n-go sandwiches, burritos, etc)
- Starter noted our tee time, and wrote the wrong cart number down, then sent a party with a later tee time before us due to this error.
- Starter also allowed SIXTEEN (16) guys tee off simultaneously. The group booked 4 foursomes from 12-1248, but didn't tee off until until 1230, where they took a group photo on the first tee box and played together the whole round (you can already see where this is going)
- We had a 12:48 tee time but didn't get to tee off until 1:30.
- first 9 holes took 3.5 hours. Despite repeated calls to the clubhouse of how the group in front was having closest to the flag competitions, and putt offs. There was a 2-3 cart wait in front of us every hole (remember, we had the tee time after them? the starter started 2 goups ahead of us because he "forgot" about us checking in and didn't correct his error at the start) total play time was 6.5 hours. If it wasn't for the 2 great guys we were paired with, we would've left early but they were a good time.
- bev cart had 5 "regular" beers (bud, mich ultra, bud light, heineken, modelo) and 5 IPAs, titos, rum, and only a handful of mixers (sprite and cranberry). left at 3pm so we didn't have a bev cart for the back half of our 6.5-hour day.
-the course does not return to the clubhouse at the turn, but they have a food truck at 9, which conveniently closed at 4 pm as we were finishing the 8th hole, so no food was available at all throughout the afternoon.
- Tee boxes were SOLID (as in you could NOT put a tee in) and greens had plenty of weeds poking through to make every putt read irrelevant.
overall, the worst experience of the year so far. DO NOT waste your time or money here. The location is NOT good, it's an inland course on Cape code - go figure. You get a "peek" at Buzzards Bay as you tee off on 1, but once you go down the hill, you're pretty much in inland Massachusetts.

Course in Excellent condition, but a little soggy in low lying areas.
Greens were very fast.
Overall, excellent golf for the price.
Beautiful course
The course was beautiful and te greens were fast and smooth
Slow play, no water but great fun course
Great fun to play on this course but lacking water on course which is tough on a hot day. They offer water to purchase before playing. Slow play no rangers
Great course, nice people.
Played 18 riding with a foursome in June. Nice course, semi-challenging. Very little water to contend with. Surprisingly hilly for the Cape. Course itself was in excellent condition - cartpaths need work. Sand hazards in good condition. Course snakes in and out of condos, but they don’t impede. Had a great round and will definitely play again.
Painfully Slow
We had to get off at hole 17 after spending 5 hour and waiting on all shots. This course does not respect tee times they just push as many players as possible on to the course.
