Really nice round
Easily walkable, fun course. Did 9 after rain the day before, and the course was really well drained so it played very well. Will definitely be going back!
Fun 9 holes
I live nearby and like to walk 9 holes every week or two. Played with 3 younger guys (didn't know them) and they were fun to be with. They thought I was a senior pro (parred the first 4 holes then reality set in and shot 43. Course is in really great shape.

I’ve played Old Scotland many times through the years and I don’t think it’s ever been in better condition. The layout is challenging but fair. I always look forward to returning. (I’m glad they finally got new carts).
Full disclosure - hole #15 is my nemesis for some reason. Standing on the tee box, I always say to myself, “oh boy, here we go again”. Maybe it’s just me!
Excellent Public Course
The course is presently in perfect condition. Great layout and value for the price.
Enjoyable round
One of my favorite places to play. Varied layout, good conditions, has handled well the buckets of rain we’ve gotten this season. Challenging without being overly frustrating. Only qualm is they (like many other courses, unfortunately) have not brought back drinking water stations on the course. Head scratcher, especially on a hot day. Otherwise, highly recommend!
Subpar
Why no water on course, seems for price you can put water out. And more frustrating is Food and beverage closes early so your sending money away from your course, too bad.
Fun links course in good shape with great greens.
Staff was friendly. Cost was reasonable. Course was in really good shape considering all the rain. Greens rolled true and quick. Glad I played it.
OSL never disappoints.
The staff is always friendly, the starters/rangers do a great job of getting everyone out on time. The course is in fantastic shape, as always. The only real issue is that it can turn into a shooting gallery between holes 1/2, 5/6, and 10/11. But as long as everyone yells FORE, and knows to be aware, all is good. Always love this place, very walkable too.
First Time at Olde Scotland
Exceeded my expectations. Course is in great shape, and best greens I've played on in years.
Carts were not charged
Carts were sluggish and very low on charge. Notified club house, but took 2 hours to get replacement carts. Walked holes as carts eventually stopped working. Clubhouse staff had a disagreement on whether or not our cart was swapped out until we were able to flag someone down on the 11th hole.
