Beautiful and Challenging!
This course is awesome. The greens are receptive but quick, the fairways are lush, the rough is thick but not extremely punishing, and the bunkers are fantastic. The layout is incredible, the course combines links, water, grasslands, and trees to create the perfect amount of difficulty while still being fair. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COURSE TO PLAYERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS, AS THE COURSE CHANGES DRASTICALLY DEPENDING ON WHICH TEES YOU PLAY
First time
Fun/challenging course.
Food and service in pub were excellent
Friendly staff all around
Could be a little more signage to the holes
Will definitely play there again
Pace was a little slow. Took 4:35 to complete round.. Cart list power on the 16th hole. But course is in good condition, greens are lightning fast. Fun layout.
I’ll be back!!
Very nice
Tee boxes were a bit rough but the grad hasn’t really started growing yet. The greens putted well. There were many ball marks; but, that reflects more on the players than the course. The fescue wasn’t to tall yet! Sand traps were in great shape.! A great round of golf for the money.!
The course is over priced now
I like the course and it is generally well maintained but always slow and is now overpriced compared to other public courses that it compares with. They need new carts. It would be nice if they could do something about the parking lot to prevent all the dust covering your car when you are finished playing.
Great Public Course in Great Condtition
I had a great time at Olde Scotland Links. It played like a tru links course and had plenty of challenging holes despite being mostly open. The greens were in great shape and played fast. Despite my normal, landing a few on 30+ feet from the hole, every putt had a chance on the large rolling greens which kept the challenge while also being confident I could 2 putt with a good stroke.
It's one of the best courses I've played this year - I will definitely be going back and playing here again soon.
Bang for buck
Course is usually in good shape and didn’t disappoint this time. Greens rolled quick and true, nothing breaks as much as your rates tell you fyi. Lots of bailout areas , so swing away!
Pace of play and staff
Once again, I have to say that the Scottish Links is by far one of the slowest pace of play courses I’ve been on… have been playing there for many many years since they open at 1997 every year it gets worse… no ranger to be seen on the course and when you called the pro shop to send somebody out you get no one responds…. 5 1/2 hour round is unacceptable. If you want to be on the course for 5 1/2 hours and don’t mind and less courses for you.
Unfortunately, they do not manage the pub restaurant which closes very early so if you’re getting off the course at 5 o’clock you can’t even get a cold beer.

Great place for first round of the year
… and for any number of rounds after. Nice layout, well maintained. Great for walking.
why canceled? nope. rescheduled
this wasn't canceled. in fact, the course was nice enough to move my tee time back when i had an issue!
great course! 1 hole i don't like. several nice holes!
great condition at all times. went early season and the greens were in midseason form.
Nice Course
Olde Scotland is a great open course that is always in good condition. Pace can be slow on weekends.
Greens are in unbelievably great condition. Especially for this time of year.
NICE TRACK
Always in good shape, even after the winter the greens were good, Never had a bad day here, just play it you won't be disappointed.
Great course
Quickly becoming one of my favorite courses... good conditions nice layout .
Great course
Course is still one of my favorites. Not real happy with new management though. Price or driving range went up substantially and there are no longer lessons available.
