Olde Scotland Links at Bridgewater

Exceeded my expectations. Course is in great shape, and best greens I've played on in years.

Carts were sluggish and very low on charge. Notified club house, but took 2 hours to get replacement carts. Walked holes as carts eventually stopped working. Clubhouse staff had a disagreement on whether or not our cart was swapped out until we were able to flag someone down on the 11th hole.

Our cart broke down on the second fairway and the grumpy cart manager didn’t want to give up his cart so we could play the round. He did finally give in.

Speed of play was awful! The groups ahead of us were playing like they were the only ones on the course. The round took 4.5+ hours. Not good for playing on a week day.

Will not be playing there again anytime soon for $80.

Just awful

Staff was very friendly and helpful from the pro shop to the starter. The course was in excellent condition. Very playable but challenging. You need to pay attention to every shot.

I am a big condition snob and the town does one amazing job with this public track. The greens were rolling so well before and after the big rainstorm. Fairways are in great shape and the fescue and bushes on the edges are flourishing due to all the rain. I have played this course for the last 10 years and think it might be in the best shape of its life.

No excuse for carts to fail anytime of year. It’s an everyday occurrence

The course was in excellent condition despite all the rain. Greens rolled perfectly. Only concern was the pace of play. The group in front of us had 2 holes open. Ranger drove by and did not address it.

I like the course and it is well maintained. Pace of play is always slow and always over 5 hours. Overpriced at $82. The range could be so much better. I have never been able to hit off the grass. The golf balls are poor at best and $8 for a small bucket is a rip-off. Golf carts are the worst I've seen as our 2 carts died on the course. We understand they have 80 carts on order but still it is embarrassing and how about a discount when you have to carry your bag for a couple of holes. Just a little more attention to detail at a little better price would go a long way.
