Olde Scotland Links at Bridgewater

My Wife and I have been playing this course off and On and enjoy the course very much, I have yet to break 82 as a score at this course andhave never broke 80 at any course and we just enjoy playing here and it's not an easy course atleast for us but the staff ( Mark, Fran, Grace and the others, starters, Rangers, carts & grounds personel are the best & freindliest around by far ) the course is just pleasurable and enjoyable if the pace of play is normal and conditions are good.

Its in our top 3 favorate place to play for sure.

Olde Scotland links is a nice course but compared to other courses in the area it is over priced. When arriving I felt that the staff in the pro shop was not exactly friendly, and did not inform me about the driving range... one token is 5 dollars, so I got two tokens, one bucket for me and one for my friend. When approaching the ball dispenser there was a sign 1 token 5 dollars, 3 tokens 12 dollars. I feel a friendlier staff would have informed me for just two more dollars I could have purchased 3 tokens instead of 2 tokens for 10 dollars. Course layout was nice, fun course to play. Just not worth the money in my opinion

Hadn't played this course in many years and had forgotten that it is a pretty darn good track. Staff was friendly and accomodating letting us out out much earlier than our scheduled tee time. Lots of different looks, challenging greens and overall great conditions for May in MA.. As links golf can be it is very forgiving off the tees and the challenge is in the uneven lies and undulating greens. Enjoyed the experience very much and will certainly return.

Third time playing here and first time playing here in temperatures above 40 degrees. I couldn't be more impressed. Got out at 720am and finished by 915. One of the first to tee off so I flew through the course. Paid less than 20 dollars with a hot Deals tee time. I'll be back again soon.

I’d played this course in the past, and found it entertaining.

But on this occasion i was charged a premium price For areated greens

Poorly maintained fairways.

Hardpan and bare areas around most greens and tees.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

I spoke with staff after and the reply was “I’ll pass that on to the club pro”

Other than the greens having been recently aerated, the course is in excellent shape with the rough a little deeper than usual given all the rain we'd had this spring. Pace on this course is normally very good, but with this being one of the few nice golf days in May and still early in the season there were a lot of people for a Thursday and they weren'y all playing their best. Nonetheless, I was able to get in 18 in less than 4 hours.

I play 2 times a week, have been playing many years, so I am not easily excited.This course is a good challenge for a low handicapper, playing from the blue tees. Greens were punched,other than that I really enjoyed the conditions of the course.Waiting for the fescue to start growing,then it is a really awesome course.

I have played this course many times in the past.Today was the first time I played here this spring. Without the tall fescues, this links layout for a low handicapper allows us to swing away. This being said you can hit driver everywhere,the greens were slow but true.Really enjoy this.myself I play 2 to 3 times a week and enjoy playing on the course it’s well-maintained

OSL gave everyone a treat to compliment a 60 degree day in February...Only a handful of courses could pull this off but the outstanding staff had nearly 120 golfers smiling including our group. 90% of the pins were frozen solid but no one complained especially with the new rule change allowing for this. Thank you OSL and staff for a treat...hope we get another one of these...soon!
