Starters Matter
Golf now made a huge error and double booked my time as a single. The starter worked his tail off to fit me in and make sure I was taken care of. The course was enjoyable and certainly a value for the price. But the starter was the best.
Down hill
Been playing Scottish links since they open, the course used to be phenomenal great shape some of the best greens to put on. I get it with Covid smaller staff have been playing other public courses in our in far better shape $57 to walk the course I wouldn’t have no problem paying that, but I should not be chipping on crab grass all around the greens horrible shape!!
Great course
Keep up the good work, course in great condition - from tee to green.
Great course need to play it
The course was perfect condition, I can not say enough about my experience you need to play this one.
Not what it used to be
Wow, what a decline from what this course used to offer. Prices have stayed the same, but conditions are just decent, at best. Long grass on the tee areas, crab grass growing in almost all the bunkers, fuzzy fairways, and beat to, slow greens.
Such a shame to see what the town has done, in letting this former great course slide way down hill. For what they charge, this is a poor value, unless conditions are somehow improved here.

$40 for a cart , 2 in the same is a bit steep

It’s the top five public courses in Massachusetts . Course was in great condition no bad spots at all on the course fairways are in perfect shape and the greens were a 10
Great Public Course
I have been playing here for a long time. The course is fair yet challenging and has always been in great condition. The layout is unique and worth a trip if you have not played here before
Gave it another chance, glad I did
A couple of weeks ago I was critical of the golf staff and expresses an unwelcoming feeling at OSGL. I stand behind my previous review, but was impressed with everything today, and would recommend it to a friend. Course conditions are well above average and pace of play was right at 4:10. Service staff in the bar restaurant are top notch, and i walked away satisfied.
