Olde Scotland Links at Bridgewater

Very enjoyable day on my 73rd birthday. However, I was informed that the course offers a senior rate of $50. We could not get that rate at the course because of using this online system. Thus my credit card was charged $54 more than I would have paid at the course. All 3 players were over 70 years old.

Great coarse, played it about 5 times ,

Instead of tree’s/woods they have this wonderful high grass ! Don’t hit it in there! All is great !

Really a fun coarse with challenging holes

All greens, fairways nicely kept.aesthetically works.

19th hole open with social distancing, but still get that camaraderie.

As for the play, bring balls, you will loose them feet off the fairway.

Understand this is a links course, placement of grasses,shrubs, marsh and fauna just kills your flow.

My group generally shoot low 90s, some 80s...we are used to different courses but were out of our element overall.

My mea culpa here is highted by tin cup performance on 18th, par 5....ate a 12!

Speed of play was issue as, if everyone is looking for their ball, or someone is, naturally you will be slower. THAT is not taken into consideration of relentless rangers. Further stress on the courses predetermined times isn't needed at 77 bucks a round.

But the 19th hole deck was very amiable, wait staff attentive, and the miserable mental round was relieved.

Olde Scotland Links in Bridgewater has the potential to be an outstanding class “A” golf course! It has a great layout and is well maintained.

We were a twosome playing behind a foursome on a Wednesday afternoon. I remarked to my partner how happy I was with the pace of play. So I was surprised when the starter told us at the turn that he had asked the foursome in front of us to pick up the pace!

It seems that the foursome was playing at the correct pace of play but, there was a gap between them and the group in front of them. The foursome said that they could not pick up their pace; that they were doing the best they could.

My twosome was happily playing in our correct slot.There was no group in the slot behind us. So why hassle the foursome and spoil their day?

Very frustrating attempting to get a refund from my pre-paid round for four. One of my group got re-called into work after COVID-19 and couldn't play. I was given a number to call by the pro behind the counter, that # hung up on me in the end 3 times. I went to the GolfNow website and that was also a dead-end. I feel like I got ripped off/taken advantage of. If the system for a refund or a credit was more transparent, then overall it would be a great experience. Advice; be SURE your players can play or you'll be charged.

Course in EXCELLENT shape. Pace was good, staff excellent...great day !!!

Course is in great condition. Drawback, the restroom is not open. Staff was excellent.

Good day, good course, always a decent place to play, especially in the winter

Course was in good shape especially for March. Starter was great. Gal in the pro shop took an attitude saying her system said I booked for 1 not 2 but I had a confirmation for 2. They should clean that up. Good value for a mid winter walk on the course. Great weather

The course is nice and pretty well kept. Starter was a great guy. Issue is they will consistently offer a cart as part of a deal, not allow carts on a course that has paths everywhere and then charge you for a pull cart. This has now happened a couple of times. I will avoid this course because I want to get what I am expecting when I arrive at the course.

You can’t beat Old Scotland for value, course conditions , pace of play and staff.

Course was in good shape who would thought we would be playing in 42 degree weather in the middle of February. Great value for the price. The course did supply a pull cart after the motorized ones were not allowed.
