Nice course
Very well kept. Front nine is a converted par 3 course I was told so there are a couple short par 4s. Overall good round, will be back with the wife.
Great value
First time playing this course, great condition and layout. Was a weekend and they were busy, pace of play was a little slow but still finished our round in just over 4 hours. Would definitely play again.

Course was in great shape.
Great value.
Can’t wait to play it again!
Good course, horrible "regulars"
I would suggest this course as long as you don't go on weekend mornings and aren't a newbie. We had 2 newer golfers with us and played at 7:30 on a Saturday morning. We were still able to finish our front nine in 2 hours, which wasn't the fastest round but was in no way slow. During the front we let one group of guys, that were cruising along, play through. Apparently a group of "regulars" behind them were not happy with our pace and called the pro shop on us (we were told they do this on a weekly basis).
The ranger asked us to hold up at the turn to allow these guys to play through, which was fine with us. So we waited 10 minutes at the 10th tee for the group to finish up 9. The ranger was incredibly nice and did a good job of trying to defuse the situation.
The problem began when the grumpy old dudes decided they needed to talk to us like we were children and reprimand our pace of play. They said the normal pace for 18 is 4 hours, which we ended up finishing in even after waiting for them to play through. They got what they wanted by playing through, yet they still felt the need to be extremely rude about it. I understand trying to keep up with the group in front of you but when you have fairly new players learning the game, it's tough asking them to pick up their balls just to keep up. It ruined the back 9 for us all. Overall the course is a good value for the price but dealing with the "regulars" that go there isn't worth it.
I will never use Golf Now again
Course was great. People at course were great.
It was raining course was not closed but unless we golfed we would lose our money. Will never ever book Golf Now again because of their cancellation policy.
Great Course!
The course, especially the greens, was in very good shape. There's a good balance of moderate difficulty versus challenging holes. The layout is great and the round was enjoyable.
PLEASANT SURPRISE
Great day at Ridder Farm GC.
The course is great. Because of the Virus the off course amenities were not there but when everything clears up they will come back. I will play there again.
Decent value, but no carts on the back 9!?
We were told that carts couldn’t be used on our back nine because they close up at 7:30 - it was 5:30 at the time and finishing out with carts would have been feasible. We were forced to take pull carts on the back 9 while seeing several others still riding on the course with rangers everywhere in sight. Not sure what the reason was for this when we clearly paid for 18 with a cart and there was no mention of that closing policy online. We were offered a rain check for 9 holes but that experience left a bad taste in our mouths
Pace to slow,
Course in good shape. Pace of play is to slow. Had to wait almost every tee box.
John
well maintained, friendly staff, awesome greens always a pleasure playing there and a reasonable prize
Ridder Farm
I try to play here at least once a week. Conditions are always very good and greens at times are very fast but always roll well. Although overall it is short it still presents a challenge with green speeds and pin placements. I look forward to playing here each week.
Ridder
This course is always in good shape , even after the late start this year , it was nice . A no frills place , as far as a clubhouse or beverage cart , but it’s affordable , and once you tee off , you’ll enjoy it . There is a restaurant for after the round , that I’m not sure many people know about, but it’s excellent , great food , friendly staff . So 18 at Ridder , and a stop at the 19th hole is a good take .
Ridder Farm
Ridder is a fantastic course, the front is open enough to try to go low, work on a part of your game without worry of losing 11 balls in the first 3 holes, and the 5th hole is a test being a 90 degree dogleg left. The back is much more challenging. Smart shots off the tee will set you up to play well.
On the other hand, the bunkers have a lot to be desired. Play like cement. Most likely due to COVID. Have been thinking about putting a rake in my bag as a 15th club.
Would I play here again? I’ve played here 6 times this year
