well maintained, friendly staff, awesome greens always a pleasure playing there and a reasonable prize
Ridder Farm
I try to play here at least once a week. Conditions are always very good and greens at times are very fast but always roll well. Although overall it is short it still presents a challenge with green speeds and pin placements. I look forward to playing here each week.
Ridder
This course is always in good shape , even after the late start this year , it was nice . A no frills place , as far as a clubhouse or beverage cart , but it’s affordable , and once you tee off , you’ll enjoy it . There is a restaurant for after the round , that I’m not sure many people know about, but it’s excellent , great food , friendly staff . So 18 at Ridder , and a stop at the 19th hole is a good take .
Ridder Farm
Ridder is a fantastic course, the front is open enough to try to go low, work on a part of your game without worry of losing 11 balls in the first 3 holes, and the 5th hole is a test being a 90 degree dogleg left. The back is much more challenging. Smart shots off the tee will set you up to play well.
On the other hand, the bunkers have a lot to be desired. Play like cement. Most likely due to COVID. Have been thinking about putting a rake in my bag as a 15th club.
Would I play here again? I’ve played here 6 times this year
great value
Played with my grandson, member of his high school golf team. we were paired with a man and woman who had started playing 6 years ago. Good conversation about the course, I have played here for 58 years. once a 9 hole course with an ice cream stand Will play again.
Good course
Course is I. Very good shape staff are very friendly and accommodating. Course is challenging but not overly difficult
Great pace
Been playing ridder for years off n on. Stopped playing there years ago on weekends, because pace of play.
We did todays round in just over 3.5 hours. That should always be pace of play there.
Great deal - great time
Staff were very friendly and accommodating given COVID restrictions. Pace was excellent today and course was in really great shape.
The golf course with set up excellent for playing everything was in place there was no delays they were well prepared it gave you a sense of normalcy during these uncertain times.
Great course for Cvid
This course is a great walking course - especially w/r/t Cvid restrictions.
My first time out this season and the fairways were well maintained, with plenty of ruff before getting to the pesky trees and such. Although all the greens were aerated, and the wind was strong, it was a great first time out this season- the maintenance is to be expected and Mother Nature doesn't listen to anyone.
I'd definitely go again!
Gorgeous day - Good time.
Course was a bit spongy and one hole (12 maybe) was pretty much unplayable due to snow/mud/puddle combo. Pin was plugged into fairway on two holes as I can only guess the greens were either under repair or recently put down. Tee boxes were moved up as well but that was not a big deal. I’m sure course is fabulous in summer months and wide fairways very forgiving. Didn’t lose a single ball! Staff were very friendly and kept a great pace for the course with the amount of people on course today. Def will go again.
Great winter golf course
Course was in great condition for it being February, greens are perfect, length if the course is on the shorter side. I think its a great place to start someone out with golf, wide open fairways on the front, the back gets a lil tighter. Staff is friendly, i will be back!!
Great layout
Course layout is great. Feels like two different 9’s. Great winter course to play. Wish the holes were more obvious and organized along w the cart paths. Great “first timer” or family course. Short but challenging course. I will be back!!!
First time, won’t be the last
Played here for the first time today. Played just the front 9, but the course was in pristine condition. There was a “bomb cyclone” 2 days ago, so obviously it was a bit wet, but lush. The fairways were in amazing condition, greens rolled true. Pace of play was great, the group in front were searching for a lost ball, stopped, and waved me through. Staff is incredibly friendly
Greens were in bad condition
I should get a refund. The greens were soaked, the greens keeper made no effort to maintain the greens.
I should get a refund for the round.
