Great game improving course
The course was in very good condition where the greens are nice and fast. The course is short and mostly open, but it has some nice challenges with sharp turns both left and right, and obstacles that force you to think. The hardest holes have some tricky greens. For an intermediate player that will score all penalties, this is a great game improving course.
Tons of Fun
In unbelievable shape for September. Beautiful weather matched by equally beautiful course.
Fair and Fun
Short front 9,fair and fun back with holes that demand good golf shots. Recommended
Beautiful Course - well kempt
Really nice course, fairways, fringes, and greens were well maintained. Fairways are pretty open, greens are quick. Sand traps were a little stale and stiff. The course was challenging but not impossible, needed to use a lot of shots to play well. I will definitely be coming back.
Wow, so many improvements
I moved out of Mass 4 years ago and it’s been at least that long since I played here. The course was in amazing shape! I can say in all the years I’ve played here before I moved I’ve never seen this place look so good! It’s not a difficult layout on the front nine, you can really boost your confidence on some of the short par 4’s. The back nine is more difficult but as enjoyable.
Overall great experience!
Good Value esp. for beginners
Staff was experienced and friendly when I checked in. Course was in good condition including greens, sand traps, fairways and tee boxes. Most fairways are wide so this is an ideal course for beginners or golfers who struggle to keep their drives straight. Course is relatively flat so walking doesn't take much effort. Good overall value if your looking to try out new clubs or tweaking your mechanics.
Great practice for short game.
It's not long but the tee's and green's were in good shape. Big hitters can reach a few par four's in one. The par three's are longer. Not too much trouble out there. Fun track to play.
Course was in excellent shape. Back nine was a little tougher than the front but overall a pleasurable experience.
Pace of play was terrible, but that is to he expected on a holiday weekend. Two groups ahead of us were incredibly slow while the group behind was impatient and hit into us multiple times. Normally I'd have let them play through but there was nowhere to go.
Good turf
Ridder is always in good shape.Even with all the rain we have had the turf was solid. The greens were very good and fast. The course is somewhat under-rated.It has a easy first 8,and a tough 10.
