Too slow
Very nice condition. Short course. Good value for money. This would be a great course for beginners or to take ur kids. 4 me it was too slow waiting 5 mins to take every shot. laying up all the time. And this isnt the 1st time. Problem is sending groups out 8 mins apart and then no one to make sure they keep up.
parkland style course
Decent little course, great for beginners or just working on your game. Tee boxes and greens are very good shape fairways are fair to good.
Good Conditions, Easy Layout
This course is kept in good condition for a public course. The front 9 and back 9 are very different. Front 9 is short, wide open and easy. The back adds a lot more trees and some length to make for a harder layout.
One of the most aesthetically pleasing public courses in eastern Massachusetts. Great conditioned fairways, tee boxes and greens. Terrific design regardless of your ability. Friendly staff and great practice area.
Great day
Great facility for a casual round with all the perks.
Wide open
Course is very miss hit friendly not much trouble and the greens are guarded by bunkers. Beginner or novice a great deal for the $$.
Aesthetically Pleasing and Interesting Layout - Stay Away On weekends
Always enjoy this golf course for its design and very good condition and greens. Overpriced to walk and gets too much play on weekends and they do not have a policy of regulating the 1st tee properly so it gets very slow real quick in the round. When you have a very nice facility like this it behooves leadership (owners) to to manage the most elemental issue of public golf, that is, keep it moving..!! Will not be going back except maybe on a weekday.
great score when dry, it plays toughr in the back then the front but enjoy playing it , the greens have to be th best on the south shore, challenging breaking puts on most all. i do not play here much , i think its a bit over priced in season but the winter rate is best.
I would say a must play course.
staffs are very rude!
play there with two friends three times in 2015 and we would never go back there playing again. the course is not bad and the location and food is good. But each time the staff is very rude to the golfers. they act like we owe their money and they do us a big favor by playing there. Worst golf experience we have had ever...will never go back there to play again...
Traffic noise
So slow and easy lots of traffic noise on front herd train several times honking horns of people driving by people on course wore t shirts and jeans course was burnt and did not enjoy my time
Easy layout, easy walk.
Ridder is an easy walk, easy playing course. Typically in very good condition. Greens can vary, but were pretty quick which I like. Good warm up course: the front nine is very easy, the back is a bit more challenging. Pace of play is kind of slow. I think they get their share of beginners/hackers.
easy course to navigate
Ridder Farm is a nice course where there is no super challenge in playing . Call it a good warm up course. tee boxes need a little work- greens in good shape. staff very friendly
Once is enough
The course was just OK...nothing special but the pace of play really dragged. Waited on just about every hole and I would not go back.
Fair course
Easy course. Booked with Golfnow at discount price but course wanted to charge full price saying Golfnow made mistake.
Overall decent too bad...
Overall nice course too bad the price is kinda high for the caliber of a course. The staff inside is ok. Unfortunately they give a hassle with golf now customers and rarely offer deals that are good. When they are sometimes they wont be with a cart and you wont know till you get there. I like the course but its too bad cause id play it a little more to shake up things.
