Good track

Great wide open course, only issue was no rakes in the traps and traps need some TLC. To many weeds in the traps and they need some definition.

Ridder farms

Reliably good, friendly staff. Open front nine and a bit more narrow in the back. Greens are in great condition. Pace of play has not been an issue even when inexperienced players are there.

The course itself for me is everything I’d want in a golf course. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I want to buy some ridder farm swag from the clubhouse but I didn’t see any. I did get a hat, but I would love some “ridder farms” poker chips ball markers or divot fixers.

Ridder farms review

Nice course, driving range. Forgiving front nine, challenging back nine. The pace of play was a bit slow, but that can change daily.

I was a little hesitant to recommend the course to others because I thought it was a little pricey for the condition.

Slow play

Showed up 10min early to my tee time and was told I was late and that my group had already teed off. Pace of play was very slow. I had to wait a few minutes for every tee shot and and every approach shot. My guess is that the tee times are too close together. I play here often and it’s a great course but this was a tough day. I had to leave after 9 holes because of the pace of play.

Father and son day

I started playing Ridder farm back around 1964. $1.75 for nine, ice cream was a quarter. My son played golf with his high school team where he met his wife. He hasn’t played there since the early 2000s. Comfortable course to play, some tough holes. This course has always been consistent, that’s why locals come back. Keep up the good work and golfers go have fun.

Ridder Farm Golf Course

Love this place at the end of the day when you can get the low rates. The greens look nice and play okay but they are not cut right and the ball sputters.

Great Experience

The ride from Fairhaven took longer than expected primarily due to it is lots of backroads once we got off 24. Once we got there the whole experience was great. Paul, the starter , is such a great dude. We got paired with a twosome who had played the course many times so there was no mystery of what to expect on any hole. THe course was in great shape and the pace of play was good for a Sunday afternoon on a holiday weekend. The no rakes for the sand was puzzling though. Overall it was a stellar day. We will be back and we will leave earlier next time.

Nice easy course in very good condition

This was my first time playing Ridder Farm. The course has a short front 9 but is in very good condition. The back 9 is longer and more challenging. The staff was very welcoming and I really enjoyed my first visit to Ridder Farm. It’s a great course to practice your short game, with pretty good greens. I will definitely come back to better my score.
