I don’t know if ten is the signature hole at St. Anne, but it’s good enough to fill that role. It also sports a nice view from the green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/14/2024

The par-5 16th, late afternoon. A great many golf courses essentially look green, greener, and greenest. This is seldom true, however, of New England layouts in mid-October. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/14/2024

Eighteen, a long and tough finishing hole, doglegs left off the tee. Later it swerves back right and uphill to a well-defended green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/14/2024

Don’t hit too far down the seventh fairway—crossed by a meddlesome brook. But do enjoy the views. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 09/21/2020

this golf course doesn't care about non members
A very busy day at the golf course on a very hot day; 5 to 10 minutes wait at every hole so what it should be a 2 1/2 hours round became a 5 hour round.
Waiting at the tenth tee for the two groups in front of us a couple of ladies just drove by in front of everybody and join the group ahead of us so we had been waiting for a threesome the entire day and now, for the next 9 holes, we waited for a five some. Apparently they have big leagues at the golf course so they send their members all over he course whether there are paying guests playing or not.
Never seen that in my golfing life and hope not to see it again so I will not come back to that course
Fun course to play
First time playing here with my wife. It was really busy, maybe due to it being maybe the nicest day of the year so far. The opening hole has a really wide fairway making it a nice hole to start on. The ladies tees were well up from the men’s tees which made it nice for my wife. From the back tees it was a good challenge. It was a really windy day and that made the par threes tough as most of the time I think it was into the wind. The course was in great condition for so early in the season. One of the regulars told me the course is like that during the summer as well. We had lunch in the clubhouse after golf. The food was served quickly, was good and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back there hopefully a few times each season. Thoroughly enjoyed the day there.
Great course
Awesome round at a great course...
Great value for the money. Course was in great shape with just a couple of wet spots. Greens were fast. The staff is always friendly.
Excellent Layout/Fast Greens
Okay, it was March 31st but the weather was perfect and greens were very nice. They have some tough areas off the fairways and rough but then again you shouldn't be there, right?! LOL Very nice layout. Fair, challenging. Open enough to hit lots of drivers but if you do get under the trees you can play from them, you're not in jail
Usually a fun course and a good layout but they never should have opened the back 9 on this day. The entire back nine was a swamp and foursomes were packed in like sardines. Was over a five hour round.
Nice Layout
Okay, first it's New England, it was February 28th and we were playing golf. That makes it a GREAT day! I will go back when the course is green and in full bloom. Very nice, very fair layout. For 2/28, the greens were in great shape. You can tell they take care of the greens great and fairways you could tell have no weeds. Pretty open course, but don't worry, wayward shots will find trouble.
It was open in February
Carts allowed on front. Obviously they allowed them on the back prior to the day I played. Entire course is cart ruts. They should not allow carts until the course dries up. Way to much damage.
Enjoyed playing in February in great weather. Greens didn't have much break but we expected that.
I will play it again. Price is good with Golf Now and it is open in February.
Winter Golf!!!
Course is open, and it’s great to play in February!
course was fair because of leaves on two holes on front nine 4 and 5 , other than is moderate course to play
Friendly course
St. Annes is a friendly course to play. Not many traps, hazards, or narrow fairways and not very long. It has some nice elevation changes and interesting holes. The fairways were in great shape making straight drives pay off. The rough was fair too. Greens were in good shape but not too fast. We played in late October and the leaves were barely a factor. We played on a Hot Deal for 13 bucks with a cart. That's free golf in my book. We play there several times a year because we always have fun. Sometimes though, it gets backed up at the first tee. I'd recommend St. Annes.
course is in excellent condition
Played with my brother in law. we arrived a few minute before noon and were able to get our cart and jump off the 1st tee within 5 minutes. It was a beautiful day, sunny and 72 degrees, minimal breeze. It was busy there and some players in front of us were rather slow. The course is in excellent condition. Big fast greens, manicured fairways and tough rough. Wish I had been able to play better than I did, but I was very happy with the course, the weather and the company. I will be returning for my next game. You should try this course.
Good value, 4:35 pace, no ranger
Easily could have been a sub 4 hour round if only course had a ranger. Waited on every shot.
Group in front of us had a golfer that got 30-50 yards off every tee. They were nice enough to let us play through on #11. Nice guys, just no reason to let us play through earlier as course was backed up. Only reason they let us through was the twosome in front of them walked off the course because it was so slow. We were a twosome behind a foursome, twosome, foursome. Typically pace is better Monday - Thursday. We played on a Friday at noonish.
Good place to play
Fairways and rough could use some mowing. Greens were excellent! The $15 Hot Deal makes it one of the best values around!
Nice course hot day
The layout can definitely be confusing. And on a hot day it was hard to find any coolers with water in them. Nice course though. Just remember for the first hole to take the cart path on the left from the parking lot.
Thumbs up
This is always a fun course to play. It seems that no matter what the weather the course is always in good condition. The course is interesting with some wooded holes and lots of elevation changes. Although it is not a destination course in the area it is one you can't pass up for the price. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
