The bar has a view of the 18th hole. Great place for a local IPA and to watch the action Photo submitted by p5Z2CYfD7C15AWlrKcOp on 09/02/2019

Most beautiful course
Nice and challenging greens are the best I totally recommend playing at this course
A Waste of a Day
Staff was very friendly on the phone, not so much in real life.
Teed off behind TWO fivesomes. The guy in the pro shop knew it, and did nothing. 30 minutes later we were through the par-5 first, waiting on every single shot. The fivesome didn't have anyone in it that could hit the ball more than 100 yards.
Four and 3/4 hours for 18 and the course wasn't crowded.
No tee management and a clientele that never heard of the concept of playing through. Won't be back.

Course is extremely burnt out. Greens are in fact green and running true. They have closed the bar and dining area due to lack of customers... maybe hire some new staff to bring in the younger crowds
Great views, staff and greens!
I have been playing Edgewood since 2011. The course gets better all the time. While other courses greens have been diseased for last 2 years, these green look and ply great.
Average
Played on Friday 8/23 after hearing some good things about the course - Staff was very nice and accommodating. Front 9 was in pretty good but back 9 was lacking especially the tee boxes, Some hardly had any grass. lots of weeds. Fairways were average with some brown out. Greens were nice and rolled pretty well.
Edgewood upgrade
Wow what a difference since the new owners came in! The place is actually run like a golf course now. Not like the old days ! Much improved conditions and most important the atmosphere. Major turnaround
Scenic
A Safari Club adventure that met all our expectations. Well maintained fairways and greens ... a few challenging water holes and a 19th hole that pleases! View from clubhouse is spectacular. Go play !!!
On June 20th i played Edgewood Golf Course with the Safari Golf Association
This was a challenging course
I NEEDED A LOT OF MY CLUBS TO PLAY THIS GOLF COURSE. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN VERY OFTEN
THE GREENS AND FAIRWAYS WERE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE STAFF AND THE FOOD WERE GREAT TOO
Safari Club Event
I played with the Safari Club and had a wonderful time. The course is nicely varied in layout and length. Fairways and greens were excellent and the greens will challenge you putting. Play this course // know you will enjoy it as much as our club members did.
Safari in Southwick
Edgewood is a fun a beautiful course to play. It has been well taken care of, and all improvements are well planned. Fairways that were rocky and difficult to drive or walk on are now graded and in great shape. There are some beautiful holes because of the surrounding mountains and farms The restaurant and facilities are now clean and fresh. The new management of the restaurant is well known and excellent.(Paul and Laurie) A great place to spend the day!
Safari Road Trip
We were well received by the staff and found the course in great shape in particular the greens...would recommend others to come and play
Value for the $
Played the course last Monday (6/20) with the Safari Club and had a great time. Greens were in great shape. Staff and other amenities were top notch.
Typical Cornish
I played Edgewood with my friends in The Safari Club. The course is in good shape considering the drought conditions in the northeast. Converted farmland with rolling fairways, and uneven lies will test the best shotmakers. Greens are soft, rolling at moderate fast speeds with subtle undulations that make putting an art.
The staff was friendly and eager to please with a cold beer after the round. (Awesome grilled pastrami and swiss on rye sandwich also.)
GREAT VALUE!
Dollar for dollar this course offers a great bang for your buck. With two other courses in the same town, both located right off the main drag (10 & 202), this course is off the beaten path, but never the less, easy to get to and not hard to find.
Beautiful scenery and fast greens are two components of this course that will make you want to come back. Staff is friendly and accommodating and the restaurant has a new chef that is a culinary genius.
This is a challenging but rewarding course.
The course was in great condition. The greens were the most challenging, rather hard to read, but that is not a criticism. I look forward to playing here again.
Safari adventure
Greens beautiful.. Fairways a little heavy. Pace of play excellent...staff addressing back nine with removal of 200 trees. This will also make a positive impact on play..... Cart paths could use some TLC...all in all an enjoyable day.
Safari Club outing
Course was in very good shape. Greens were fast and hard to read. You read a brake right and it would brake left. Some holes were easy and some were hard to get it there. All in All it was a very good day, as always with the SAFARI Club.
Safari Club super day of golf at Edgewood
Last Monday I played Edgewood with the Safari Golf Club and we had a super time. The greens were in great shape a little difficult for this old dog to putt. They were true but undulating and hard for me to get use to. The bunkers were the best we have played in this year. The fairways were good. The rough was very hard to get out off it was longer than I like. A great place to play golf.
does anybody have an up to date review of the course conditions at edgewood?
