Course will be in fantastic shape in a couple of weeks when the turf recovers from recent aeration. In the meantime, still a great layout and good value!

I always enjoy this course played gold tee's felt out of place but I hung with the boys ( older ) I can only hope I play as good as they do when I get their. Shot 94 not great but ok , just hit the wrong spots too many times.

I am looking forward to next week with the boys again.

Greens were punched, but the course is in top shape.

Played Ok, Enjoyed seeing old friends again and playing golf with them they are much older than me and they 14 -15 years I play golf years ago with them and I learned so much from them and they are just great people. Bob , Steve & Peter , I played hockey with Peter 's son Much younger than me ) my Wife & I with Peter & his wife never figured he was hat much older than my wife and I that guy can play golf, He shot a 87, me 92 but hey it was great to play golf with these guys every time.

Course is really is in nice conditions greens are best I have played on but after this weekend they will be punching the greens as they always do in September.

2:10 tee time, great weather steady pace. Layout was challenging enough for our family of golf lovers. Some great trash talking. Would recommend this course to all skill levels. Thanks Halifax country club.

Nice course, cool lay out. Range onsite, putting green. Carts are new, snack stand as you pass to go to back 9. Shanks is a good spot to grab food after. Overall solid course and fun to play.

Yeah, its that nice. Great conditions after a hot, dry summer. Greens are fast with lots of rollout, fairways, tee boxes, traps and cart paths in good condition. Attentive cart girl, snack bar, restaurant and driving range, zippy electric carts with weather cover for bags. The way a golf course should be. Suggested putting a sand rake on the carts while this covid rule is in place.

First time playing this course and I had prepared myself for disappointment because of how the drought had affected many courses, but I was pleasantly surprised by the good conditions, from tee box to green. The layout was not especially interesting or challenging, but very enjoyable nonetheless. I suppose it helped that I played well that day. Now, the complaint. There were storms forecast and before we got to the 1st green, the first storm arrived. We were called in with plenty of time to stay dry and about 30 mins later were back on the 2nd tee. 4 holes later, another horn. This time, no precipitation or lightning at the course, but the wait was over an hour before being allowed to resume. One hole later, another horn and the last straw. I get it that our safety is paramount and getting us off the course with plenty of advance warning is good practice. But how about getting us back on when the storm has passed? They don’t reverse themselves easily. We were told the policy was to wait until the cell was 10 miles past the course, but at no point did the second storm fully cloud over, produce any rain or lightning at the course and we ended up wasting playing time in perfectly safe conditions because of this I’ll conceived and inflexible policy. No rain check was offered despite only being able to play 7 holes either.

Shot an 89 and the course was played tough like I remember but I have always enjoyed playing this course when the temp is right and its not wet this is a bucket list course for an average golfer who enjoy challenges. I f you hit 200 yards off the tee from white markers and you can keep it under a hundred or 90 your playing good golf.

You Need to play this course and shame on you if you do not.

Have and don't take play to serious, enjoy the time on the golf course.

i first played here last year. This was my fourth round this year. it's a fantastic golf course. Very challenging but fair. Awesome layout. You have to hit a good tee shot and your ability to hit the greens in regulation are the key to scoring well. Greens are fast and need to be weary of that.

Played this course last year July maybe but in better shape then last it was great pace and played tough , shot 89 but could have been better my wife played good but could have played better it was a very enjoyable pace and weather conditions.

Looking forward to the next time.

People should play this course as its in great shape.
