Great Track
The course has a great variety of holes, The conditions were excellent and I was fortunate to be playing with a member who knew the ins and outs. Greens quite quick if you got above the hole. Last 6 holes would be a challenge for most everyone. Highly recommended
Not worth the $$$
Anytime I have to pay $80 to play, I expect the greens to be nicer. A lot of burnt or algae infected greens. Get your act together!
Good walking course
The course is fairly easy, with wide fairways and forgiving rough. There's some water, but it tends to guard the sidelines rather than being something to overcome.
We only got to play nine and a half holes because rain and lightning came in, but what we did play, we liked.
South Shore Golf @ Halifax
A nice change from regular Boston municipal courses - Halifax is a good place to get ones game in shape and score low- Fiarways are open and the hazards are limited - The course could more sand in the traps, but the fairways were well kept and the greens were Really impressive: fast. In short an enjoyable day for fairly reasonable money - Great hamburgs/ hotdogs at the outdoor cafe.
Great course,
Drove down to Halifax CC from Boston (45 mins). Well worth it. Course was in really solid condition, especially for a 90° day.
Tree lined fairways, well groomed fairways, lightning fast greens that ran true, and a quality range. Great bargain for 65$ on a Friday.
Great Layout
Outstandingly and serenity of course. Too pricey compared to other courses around.
Great Experience
Played for the second time in the last 10 days...it's a treat from tee to green. You need to to bring your "A" game as it's long and has some tight-ish fairways. Greens were true and firm-fast but very fair. They could only improve with what looks to be a potential for the course burning out in areas where the effects of the dry winter has shown up. It's a just a nice place...Thank you Country Club of Halifax the opportunity.
Best Greens on the South Shore
Shorter course but the back nine will test every golfers ability

Joe, Dave & Pro Shop staff very helpful and supportive. Course in excellent condition thanks to Greens keepers. A must play!
