Course conditions are superb! Greens putt true and fast. Helps to have local knowledge as where to hit the ball on the greens as downhill putts are lightning.
Staff was attentive and very helpful..
I'll be back to play again.
Wonderful Experience
I had a 12:40 tee time booked for my wife and me. The was a men's league teeing off at noon so the person in the pro shop and the start suggested we tee off early.
We started at 11:50 and finished in 3 hours and 5 minutes. The conditions were great and every member of the staff we encountered was extremely friedly and helpful.
Great course
This is a great golf course. Fairways are in excellent shape. Greens as well. I highly recommend this course. Challenging but fair
SSCC
Always enjoy playing SSCC. Hole 14 is funky, but rest of course is areal good track.

I've played most if em too...
Everything was great except greens had been aerated recently.
Fun layout but recent aeration made the greens unplayable. Give them 7-10 days to heal up. Necessary evil!
Windy
1922 vintage golf course. 100 years ago they didn’t have irrigation and drainage systems like today. They had to use slopes and gravity. Lots of hills, slopes and bumps one this beauty. The wind was absolutely howling the day I played it. I never wanted to get to the car heater as I did that day. The course itself is a classic old school routing. You’re going up to get over the hill or up to get to the green. My legs are almost 70 years old and I don’t think it would be a good idea for someone like me to walk this one. I will definitely play it again when the course and the weather have warmed up.
Great old-style layout, fun and interesting holes, greens rolled nicely
I really enjoyed the course, only issue was the pace of play. This course is not for beginners and is not very easy to play if you aren’t familiar with features like false fronts, and if you can’t keep it in the fairway.
