extreamly slow
the course is average, they had a Sunday afternoon shotgun which they put us out after. if they are having a tournament they should let you know we played the front 9 twice as the pace of play was so slow. if I had not made the decision to do that would have walked away after 9.
Conditions
I would skip this course unless they get the tee boxes and the rough in better condition! I have played on much better courses for less!!!
Waiting for Lefty
OMG the guys in front of use were so slow. Terrible you need someone on the course to keep an eye on these guys. We let guys play through and they had joined up to a sixsome to speed up.
Great value
Very good course for the price. While tee boxes could use some work, the greens were in very good shape. It was quite breezy which added to the challenge. Was busy for a Tuesday, could have used a marshall as the 4some in front of us ended up like 2 holes behind. Other than that a very nice day.
Good track
Course is worth it when they have the deals (around 35 dollars for 18 and a cart). Course was in pretty good condition considering the dry season, some fairways were a little burnt out, but the greens putted pretty well.
Fun Track & Friendly Staff
The course is good shape and very playable. Greens are rolling nicely. Bang for the buck from the tips which forces you to make decisions off the tee. This is a good public course with a friendly staff that is accommodating within reason. Give it a try!
Lakeville CC
Had a great round very nice course I will be back there many times.
good winter golf
Good place for your winter needs. In good condition and cheap rates
Good golf
Had a good round on a great course. The course could use some upkeep and way too many leaves at this time of year. A bit more TLC would be satisfactory but seemed as though you were left to fend for yourself in the leaf department. That being said, a definite must play course...
Keep the driver in the bag
Short course, keep the driver in the bag and you can score well. The two par 3's (16th and 17th) can play tough in windy conditions. Overall a good track for the money
great course
Good course good condition. Friendly staff. A shot makers course.
Jtf
Course plays tight. If right in the woods. Challenging with water throughout particularly par 3's. Hope to play again soon
Lakeville country club
There unfortunately were no starters and our twosome which had a 220 tee time ended up teeing off behind a foursome of older ladies who were supposed to tee off at 230 had a very slow pace play. Eventually we skipped a hole to pass them and were able to play at a reasonable pace.
The course was in good condition from tee to fairway. The greens had recently been punched ( which we were aware of) and played fine in their condition. The layout is nice with mostly interesting holes... Plenty of doglegs and elevation changes to keep it from getting boring. Overall, we had a good experience at a reasonable rate and will return again in the future.
INTERESTING BACK 9
Several flags were torn and needed to be replaced
Several tee boxes were in very poor condition
great value
I've been golfing at Lakeville CC anywhere between 5-15 times a year for the past 15+ years. It has always been a good value and enjoyable experience. This last time out was even better. The course was in the best condition I've ever seen it. Which says a lot considering how dry this summer has been. The greens were thick, full, and rolling great. The whole course was greener and healthier than I've ever seen. The bunkers were much better also. The overall conditions have vastly improved.
excellent course
This course was very nice and challenging with many hazards to avoid which keeps you on top of your game. Overall will definately be playing here again soon
Great Course
Played 18 and it was a great course. Besides a little crabgrass it wasin great condition. Play was pretty slow on the front 9 so we stopped and grabbed a drink and some food. We hit the back 9 and it was all wide open. Great staff. They were "testing" the sprinklers so they would randomly go off. Had an awesome time though. A couple nice par 5's and par 3's to even out.
