No frills , just plain fun
This is a great course to learn on. It’s not too difficult.
It has lots of interesting and beautiful walls that come into play. A few difficult greens The greens are in great shape considering the sun and wind. My husband and I always enjoy playing here just for fun and you can’t beat the price. We’ll be back.
A solid 9 hole track
I really like playing here. This was my second time out and as I single I got through my round in less than 1.5 hours. My only feedback is that the second hole green is just not fair. I don't think a ball can stick that green 99/100 times.
A hidden, no frills, gem.
Marion Golf Club has is a nice 9 hole course that offers some challenging shots and beautiful scenery. There are no real amenities here. Be ready to walk and go elsewhere for a drink and a bite to eat.
Course was soggy due to heavy rains however it still gave me the opportunity to practice. The course provides all opportunities for short & long games. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to playing again in drier conditions
A little wet, but still a great value; greens were good, staff awesome, despite some standing water on a few holes…a great day on the course.
Quirky...but a lot of fun!
I love this course. It is in excellent condition, much better than courses that cost three times of Little Marion. Staff is always friendly and the pace of play exactly the way it should be.
FUN!
Little Marion is one of the more unusual courses around, featuring hazards like stone walls in front of greens and fairway-wide berms that virtually guarantee a lost ball on a few holes. It's funky like an old Scottish tract. If you hit your ball straight, you've got little to fret. Course is in much-better shape than when ownership took over a couple years ago. No longer a cow pasture.
Great value
I arrived early, the friendly staff allowed me to play when ready. The course is well maintained and in good condition. The only problem was the wet spots in the fairway due to the large amount of rain the previous few days. Give it 2 dry days and it is not a problem.
