About
Bay Pointe Country Club was known as Wareham Country Club when it first opened in 1964 up until 1988 when it underwent a major renovation, including the construction of the island green seventh hole, which is the golf course's signature. The club underwent yet another multi-million dollar renovation in 2012 when the club changed ownership. In the most recent renovation, hundreds of extraneous trees were cleared from the fairways in order to get it back into pristine condition. Although it's a seemingly short layout at just over 6,200 yards from the back tees, it actually plays much longer. The first two holes are laid across the hilliest portion of the terrain. Though you have a challenging start, the rest of the Bay Pointe golf course eases into a gentler landscape.

early season
greens pretty good, fairways fair condition,tee boxes kinda rough. construction has closed 1 hole and severly shortened another
Decent course
I'd played here years ago but hadn't gone back in a while because it's a pretty long drive from my house. But the Hot Deal I was able to get was too much of a bargain to pass up. The course was in decent shape considering the time of year. The layout is a little funky with a decent amount of elevation change but a few blind tee shots. The greens were a little inconsistent in terms of speed, but they were tough in general as they were mostly crowned and not that big. The par 3's here are all about 200 yards or more from the blue tees, so they are pretty tough.
Great spring conditions
Course was in great shape for March golf. Greens were in very good shape with good spe ed. Good layout and accommodating staff. Will play again

The Island Green is very challanging!
Just wanted everyone to know.....the best greens and fairways that I have seen in this area. ! Very, very Well manicured! The best that I have seen on the cape. Or in the surrounding areas!.
They take great pride on their appearance!. And the staff were great! Even though we didn't have a Tee time, They accommodated us and we had a great round of golf!

Nice course
Nice course that on some holes plays much longer than marked Pace of play was slow the first nine until the foursome slowing things down let us play through. Greens are a bit inconsistent
Needed Maintenance
Tee boxes in poor condition - basically beat up. Fairways were very firm with numerous bare spots.
Just a little gem not crowded
From the get go you feel welcome. Super friendly staff, very attentive and caring they love their course. We had a great round of golf not crowded at all fairways were in good shape greens were fair tees were good. Some very nice holes of course the island home is visually pleasing. Don’t hesitate at golfnow price this is a fun place to play run !!!!!
Great course hidden away in Onset/Wareham
I play there every year with family and friends and we all love it. The course has come a long way over the years and keeps getting better. The greens, tees and fairways were in great shape. All very green and well manicured. I look forward to playing there often. They give great daily specials and most of all the Law Enforcement Specials is the best! Hopefully the new homes being constructed on the course will be a great addition.
Grounds crew
Only issue our group experienced was the ground crew. They were constantly machine raking during play. I have played here many times and have never seen this. They didn't even stop when we were within range of the greens..
Course was in good shape
We played on Tuesday and had a great time once we got the very slow people in front of us. The greens we in good conditions and rolled true. The fairways were in good shape also. I would recommend this coarse.

Awesome Course
The course was is great condition. The greens were in professional grade condition. The fairways were challenging with the terrain but fun. I has a blast!! Definitely be going again!!
