Great course for a great price.
Challenging course that requires you to be accurate every shot.
Carts in poor condition
Had same cart twice in a couple of weeks and both time couldn’t make 18 without breaking down.
Get ready
Bring your game. This will use every club. If you don't have a decent drive, play your best club to the green. Then chip and put. Look at the put from above the hole,( high side) if you get different reads, go at the cup. Enjoy.
This course is challenging but a fair test with some great risk reward holes.
Beautiful course! It has quickly become my favorite course to play. The staff are friendly, informative and helpful from top to bottom. It's a must play!
Environmentally friendly but no people friendly!
Arrived Hal hour before tee time to be told, no carts allowed on course that day. However, we paid for them and were told nothing could be done. Asked to use a pull cart, as we didn’t bring our own as we thought we paid for carts- they weren’t available either! They were all being used by others.
Test of skill
Beginners warning, have a decent control of your shots. The fairways can be tough and the greens tougher. Stay out of the woods as there is a fair amount of poison ivy just off the course.
This course will test every shot in the bag. Definitely a fair price to play. Best to hit a few balls to see where you're at before hand.
I love this course and am looking to play it again soon.

Hidden Gem
Fairways can have a rough spot or two. To be expected at a shoreline area . Greens are quick and roll true..I would not recommend this course for beginner golfers as its a shot making course. Great test for the golfer who has control of his game!
First timer
Course was dried out. Tee boxes and cart paths in need of repair.
Good layout with some care could be a better experience.
Slow
We left after 7. Pace far too slow. When checking in, we were told wide open. Pro was unsympathetic and said pace was 2.05 for front 9. You tee off every 10 minutes. In any event no credit for 9 wholes. We’ve not had a problem with the 2 of us golfing at Ridder. Ridder is great.

Haven't played this course in more than 15 years.
Played the fronr 9 with Granddaughter who's really starting to love golf. First time on a "real" golf course and she loved it. Back to college in a few days, but plan to play again when she's back for Thanksgiving.
We had great fun playing the course
the conditions were very good and there were some challenging holes. The foursome in front of us were very slow, ball hunting etc. We did have trouble finding a few holes and maybe more signs would've avoided that.
We wished there was more apparel in the pro shop.
