Me and my ex (female) by the way enjoyed the course and our experience there together and i got the best score of my life. Twice in one day. She even dyed her hair umm down below area green. So we could always hold onto the memories of the commute to greenbush. Fun for all.
Not Long But Tight And Challenging
Glad we played the white tees because this course while not long, is tight and a target / dart thrower's course. While the course beat me down pretty good, this is the type of course you need to give yourself a waiver for first time playing. Give yourself and break and enjoy the round. We had a local guy, Jeff, in our group, so it was helpful know what targets and lines to shoot at. We walked and they had some decent pull carts to rent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Conditions - no complaints! I would play here again for sure.
Hit is straight
Greens were in great shape for the time of year. Being a new players had a blast on the course with a group that was very experienced. Course layout was a big confusing.
Buckle up
This course is HARD. If you aren't exactly a sniper off the tee I would suggest leaving the driver/woods in the bag all day. Pot bunkers are tough to get out of as well. Bring lots of balls or be sure you bring your A game. Being from Colorado I was pleasantly surprised with what they were able to do as far as elevation changes were concerned. Not at all what I expected for coastal Mass. Overall worth playing.
Unforgiving yet fun.
Very interesting design; each hole had a unique personality. Get out of position and you pay the price! Fun round of golf. Great staff. Good restaurant.
Widows Walk
We had a great day at widows walk!! Jim , who took our tee time,Joe the starter and guy in cart barn were all so helpful and friendly! Golf course was in great shape,very difficult but fair. Greens were In great shape. Overall a wonderful day on a amazing golf course
