Widow's Walk Golf Course

Beautiful course! It has quickly become my favorite course to play. The staff are friendly, informative and helpful from top to bottom. It's a must play!

Arrived Hal hour before tee time to be told, no carts allowed on course that day. However, we paid for them and were told nothing could be done. Asked to use a pull cart, as we didn’t bring our own as we thought we paid for carts- they weren’t available either! They were all being used by others.

Beginners warning, have a decent control of your shots. The fairways can be tough and the greens tougher. Stay out of the woods as there is a fair amount of poison ivy just off the course.

This course will test every shot in the bag. Definitely a fair price to play. Best to hit a few balls to see where you're at before hand.

I love this course and am looking to play it again soon.

Fairways can have a rough spot or two. To be expected at a shoreline area . Greens are quick and roll true..I would not recommend this course for beginner golfers as its a shot making course. Great test for the golfer who has control of his game!

Course was dried out. Tee boxes and cart paths in need of repair.

Good layout with some care could be a better experience.

We left after 7. Pace far too slow. When checking in, we were told wide open. Pro was unsympathetic and said pace was 2.05 for front 9. You tee off every 10 minutes. In any event no credit for 9 wholes. We’ve not had a problem with the 2 of us golfing at Ridder. Ridder is great.

Haven't played this course in more than 15 years.

Played the fronr 9 with Granddaughter who's really starting to love golf. First time on a "real" golf course and she loved it. Back to college in a few days, but plan to play again when she's back for Thanksgiving.

the conditions were very good and there were some challenging holes. The foursome in front of us were very slow, ball hunting etc. We did have trouble finding a few holes and maybe more signs would've avoided that.

We wished there was more apparel in the pro shop.

Tee’d off Saturday 7:10 am. Keeping the ball in the fairway is a must here. Fun layout, fairways in good shape. Pitch marks all over greens, but greens pretty firm and fastish. Chipping around the greens is pretty much dead. If you miss a green or fairway here you’re dead. Tee boxes in horrific shape. Took the turn about 930 am. No food or drink available at all, absolutely ridiculous for peak season Saturday.

Tough , challenging round of golf. I would play it weekly if I lived closer.

I love the scenery, the staff, the other golfers are friendly.I've recommended this course to a bunch of friends who have played and share my love for it. It is challenging but not too long. The only reason I said average on the amenities was the lack of a shower and real changing rooms but I can live without those.

The price is also goo-its a great value for a senior like me.

The best part of this course is their greens - incredible shape. Rolling true and quick - had to be 10+ on the stimp. Very impressive.

The course is WILDLY tight. I’m a 10 and lost 10+ golf balls. They play everything as red stakes so it’s forgiving in that regard, but leave the driver in the bag (I didn’t hit my driver once).

The layout is a little squeezed, 6300 from the tips, but it’s a great $59 accessible round. Played in 3hrs 10 mins. Recently renovated clubhouse - food is good.

Greens and rough around the greens was in very good shape. Tee boxes and bunkers were in poor shape. Hadn’t played Windows Walk for almost 10 years but had heard things weren’t looking great. Looks like they’ve made progress and hope they put some effort on tee boxes. Especially on par 3s. Staff was very friendly.
