Straight and Hairy
Very straight course with a few dogleg par 4s kept in pretty good condition but greens are a little hairy and slow. 2 practice greens and a driving range makes a good warmup. Shot 91.
Beat up public course.
Tees were beat up and uneven.
Fairways were decent.
Greens are a mess - bare spots, overgrown spots, bad grass, very bumpy.
They literally stole my money
I’d rather stay home and light the greens fee on fire; at least there’s no commute for that. I paid for 18 and after half way through the turn, the ranger came and said we had to leave because “everyone wants to go home and we shouldn’t have let you make the turn”. Wouldn’t offer me a refund or even a voucher, just a shoulder shrug and “It’s not my problem”. We made the turn at 4:30…. We also tee’d off 30 minutes late (arrive to the course an hour early, they’re just so mismanaged). Conditions are terrible. 50 foot tree was uprooted and laying across the middle of one of the fairways. Balls don’t roll or bounce; the ground is constantly damp that a drive down the middle gives you a ball plugged 6 inches into the ground. For the love of whatever God you believe in, please don’t come here.
Very soggy
Course was extremely soggy due to all the rain that we have received, I'm sure it will be much better when it dries out.
I've played this Course for many years and it's a fun course, there has been a lot of renovation done in the past year.
So I'm looking forward to play there again with better conditions.
Greens Are Still Full of Torn Up Portions
I’ve played here a couple times over the past couple years. It is always overcrowded with a very slow pace of play. The first and tenth are loaded with range balls due to torn nets in the range between them. The greens are the worst I’ve seen, and I only play public courses. There are a number of holes where the greens have pot holes that they don’t even try to fix. I know it is April, but even in July they were there last year. It’s a convenient location, but that is the only reason to even consider playing.
Poor Conditions
You’re basically paying $45 to walk in a very wet field all day. Granted, we played in early April, but given the course conditions, that should be a $20 round.
Worse Public Course in MA
I have played this course many times and always hoped it would get better. Nope! It is just terrible. Tees and Fairways are in terrible shape. The greens are slow, not well maintained and have many bare spots. The staff is sometimes friendly, sometimes real downers. We got yelled at on the first tee waiting for the greens to clear as we had a very long hitter in the group. The starter said just tee off. We did and our buddy hit into the group on the green as expected. (Starter just went and hid).
Don’t come here, save your money.
Fun Round
Course did a great job removing leaves. Well maintained for a course in November.
Still a Great Value
This has always been a Great Value Course…
Don’t knock it if you haven’t made “Par” for the course here
Tee to Green is just “Fine” here
+
Greens are “REAL” with a few hiccups here and there
its as expected for the money….
I’ll be back
No
If you absolutely need to golf, it is a golf course but there is nothing special about the course. Craters the size of tires on every green, fairways and greens not mowed. Won’t be back
I will not play this course again, the customers in the bar was very rude to me and my friend. All about politics.

Course was well maintained pace was just right weather was wonderful
Our last time. Literally!
Got stuck behind two foursomes that thought it was ok to wait for the group in front on them to clear the green before teeing off. Even on the par 5 nineth hole.
No ranger present!
Greens alway have a lot of diseased areas.
Nobody cares to repair ball marks.
Tee boxes are in poor condition.
Not a lot of effort goes into grounds maintenance and it shows.
Paid for 18, quit after 9 at the 2 hour 50 minute mark.
The course was in rough shape
The course was in horrible shape. Greens were unbelievably dry with no grass patches in most of them. Hole #1 had a drain in it with a broken cover in the middle of the green. Most of the greens had that same hole in the middle of it and dried up clay surfaces throughout.
It also seemed like everybody on that course was frustrated because tee-times were stacked up.
A threesome behind us on the 11th hole was yelling at us because they said we were holding up play even though the foursome group ahead of us was still on the green at #12! We did wait on the tees all day for other players ahead of us to tee off.
I I will safely say that I will never ever be playing on this course again!!!!
