Ehh
I am not a hobbyist in golf by any chance but i know the difference between a well kept course and a ok course and this course was “ehh” greens were rough and patchy. The course play was super slow due to the amount of players on the same hole. Not sure if the course is relatively new or not due to the popularity of it or if it was just ran down. I cant say I wont be back but it will probably be awhile until then.
Carpath better that the fairways
The price was not low and the conditions of the field were bbad including the greens
I’d avoid this course
The staff was super friendly but there really isn’t anything else to write home about. The course is getting some work done on it from an irrigation standpoint but it’s just in bad shape in general. The greens were actually the best part of each hole usually but the tee boxes and fairways are in brutal shape. Keep your expectations low if you are going to play here
This course was terrible
This is definitely not a nice course to play with the lack of groundskeeping. Looked like we were in a public park with terrible landscaping. No fairways cut and the greens were atrocious with weeds and just dirt everywhere. The greens were all dried out and cracked like it was a desert even thoughy they had big sprinkler head right in the middle of each green for your ball to it. I doubt the sprinklers have been turned on in awhile by the way it looked. Don’t forget about having to play with tractors working around you and planes flying overhead every 3 mins. Fun times for all!
Terrible conditions
Tee box/fairways weren’t terrible but the greens were basically like putting on concrete with pot holes. Pretty straight friendly course but needs work
Course in rough shape
Played front 9. Approaches to greens on front were inconsistent. Some holes had dirt patches with tufts of grass making it difficult to pitch & roll.
A few fairways felt like there was more crabgrass and dirt patches than nice grass.
Greens had large dead spots that had been aerated and made to putting over challenging.
On positive side the help was friendly and accommodating. Too bad money being spent for new drainage on range didn't have part of it appropriated for improving course conditions. Not sure if course suffered from extensive flooding but it has not yet recovered.
Good layout. Greens need work.
Overall an enjoyable round. Not a lot of character to the layout. Pretty much flat throughout. Greens do need some work and there are some drainage issues.
👍🏻 Like and will continue to book tee times…
Overall a NICE 18 holes - they are in the process of making improvements and that says a lot about their commitment
to make the course even “better” than it is now
(time, effort and money) and I can’t say that about some “other” places / I’ll continue to make Tee Times here
Better than it used to be
I played this course about 4 years ago and it was a nightmare. It is now much improved. There was a lot of work being done and many people working on the course. Things are improving!
