Great Course.
It is such an easy walking course, but it took us five and a half hours to play, because of the inconsiderate foursome ahead of us, who were hitting 3 to 4 balls each. It really needs a working Ranger.
Disappointing
I booked the 9 holes that cost a few more bucks, assuming it would be nicer. Unfortunately when checking in, I was asked if we could play on the 9 behind the hotel. I said yes not knowing what I was agreeing to. This place is under complete “renovation” due to how badly it floods, and this 9 has equipment actively digging long trenches all over the course. Driving the golf kart around is an adventure, literally trying to avoid swamp lands right in the fairway.
Rain makes it tough to play
If there was no rain this course would be great to go play for a casual round, but when it rains can't play for about a week after. Drainage system is needed in the worst way! Otherwise, greens in good shape, tee boxes could be flatter, but not the worst. Would play again but definitely not worth more than 40-50$ with cart.
Don’t play here after it rains.
The course was a mess, it rained the night before and the course was literally unplayable, they should really not open after it rains.
Norwood CC
Decided this course last minute with some time to spare while up in the area. Not super challenging and straightforward course. If you're looking for thrills, perfect greens or fairways this isn't the place. If you're looking to swing your clubs and not expect too much then this place is it. Went mid Nov and it was wet, muddy is done spots and not tended to in some time other places. Decent lay out, needs to be taken care of. Large divots on fairways and t boxes. Uneven and patchy greens was the norm. The staff was great, friendly and polite. The carts could use better cleaning but they were ok. I've been to places that were worse off. Overall about a 2.5. Good food nearby and easy to get to.
Miserable Place
This place has terrible customer service and is a dog track of a course. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Luckily, GolfNow has great customer service and refunded my money.
Not accommodating
I accidentally booked for 4 players but only had 2 players even though i explained that it was a mistake i was told nothing they can do.
👎
Puddles everywhere. Muddy & soft. Greens were fair
Don’t go here
Horrible course. Fairways mainly consist of mud, clover, and water. Trenches dug into fairways and around greens. Rocks for cart path. Starter said go when the green isn’t clear. Horrible course and horrible experience. Watched a woman get hit due to the range nets not being proper, absolutely a joke
Fun course despite wet conditions
We had a fun day playing nine holes at this course. We were paired up with two very pleasant golfers. Unfortunately, due to rain in the past month, the course was quite wet. I would try this course another time!
Poor Conditions
Unfortunately because of the frequent rain, the course condition is really bad.
Honestly don't bother
They should have just closed. Conditions were terrible. The fairways were outright under water in some parts and only the back 9 was open.... which we didn't find out until we were already there. So everyone that was playing 18 got crammed onto the back 9. It was a mess after the turn so we just gave up and left.
Reflection about golf course experience
My friend and I enjoyed playing the golf course..It began to rain after we had finished our round. My friend and I frequently play at the Norwood Country Club.
