Good For Families

Not sure why it is called a country club. Good course for families to play foot golf or to take young golfers to.

Great shortgame practice

I go early in the morning to work on my game. For a couple of bucks more than a bucket of balls this is much better practice.

Great Value, Surprisingly Fun

I normally don’t play par 3/4 courses, but I’m glad I played Georgetown. My expectations were unusually low after seeing the considerably modest green fees, but I was pleasantly surprised by the course. The abundance of par 3s could have felt repetitive, but the distances and layouts varied enough from hole to hole to give each hole a distinct feel. Well-placed bunkers help keep the course interesting and engaging for experienced golfers without ruining the fun for novices and kids. Bunker maintenance was not up to par with the rest of the course, as some bunkers had piles of weeds growing in them, but I’ve seen far worse on other comparable courses. In general, the grass was adequately maintained, though some spots on and around a few greens could have used a facelift. If you’re looking for a premier golf experience, you’ll probably be a little underwhelmed. But if you’re looking for a more well-rounded golf experience than you get at a driving range but you don’t want to break the bank, then Georgetown CC is an ideal option. The quality of my experience absolutely exceeded my expectations based on the price I paid, and I look forward to returning in the future!

Best option for kids in Ann Arbor

I played my golf at Ann Arbor's munis, especially 5,000-yard Huron Hills. Once in awhile, just to mix it up, we'd go to Georgetown. It was usually in pretty good shape and it was a little different playing mostly par 3s. It's flat and quite close to downtown Ann Arbor and despite being a country club, does offer affordable public access. You should be able to walk on.

It's Ann Arbor's best golf option to bring kids along.

GCC Review

This is a small par 3 course. Great for anyone looking to improve their short game. They have a twilight special - $7 for 9 holes. Though it is not the nicest course it’s worth checking out, especially for that price. Very friendly staff,, no issues on the course, and other golfers exercised proper etiquette. I will definitely be back to work out the kinks in my irons.

Par 3

Greens are in poor shape. Sand traps had tons of weeds. Ive played and loved many par 3 courses but this was poor. If you want to work on a few chips and putts then go for it. Wouldn't pay more than 8 bucks to play again.

First round at Georgetown

Great little executive par 3 course. Greens were in good shape and they rolled pretty true. The distances from the tee box seemed to be off a little but not a big issue. My wife and son has never played a executive par 3 before and they enjoyed the round

Decent little Par 28 Course

The greens are almost always well-maintained here, and not as easy as first glance. Great course to hone your short game while also being able to pull out the driver for the par 4 6th hole (around 280 yards). Most holes are between 120 and 150 yards. I like how wide open this course is and the great value (5 rounds for $40 card).
