Hard as a rock
The tee boxes and the fairways were literally cart paths. Difficult even getting a tee into the ground. When you actually were able to get a good shot off the fairway from the rock solid ground, you would hit something hard up near the green it the ball would bounce hard left or tight. The only good thing that I can talk about was that they have a really nice grill at the turn and that if you can hit a low drive down the fairway, it will run forever. It is too bad, I was looking forward to trying this course out.
Love Brookwood, great challenge, especially the 18th hole

Course was in good shape. Staff was VERY nice. We showed up early and guy let us go early since they weren’t busy. Carts had signs on them that they were clean (for the covid thing). The ladies at the turn “downstairs” were very polite. We waited for no one on the front 9, back 9 we waited on maybe 2 holes? Good pace. Took my wife (she just started playing) and we both enjoyed it and will be back! Thanks for having us!
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great deal on golf. Had a great time taking the wife out for a round!

Good Day at Brookwood
Play here often, very wet today, clubhouse closed due toe covid restrictions. Very wet but course in pretty good shape,
Decent course but manage your expectations
Like others have said, the pro shop employees aren't very pleasant based on multiple visits to the course. Don't think they will work with you. The rules are the rules and if you book as a single, there's a very good chance you'll get paired up. None of this is a huge deal as long as you know what you're in for. Course has typically been in good condition. Nice place to play if you get a good deal, just expect typical pleasantries from club house staff.

Play here often, course was dry, but in good condition. Staff friendly as usual, just another fun day at Brookwood.
