Cedar Chase Golf Club

Been there before. Gal who greeted us is always there and is extremely friendly. Course plays pretty long, but fair conditions makes scoring well a possibility. Fall golf on a Friday morning for $20 was a great deal. Even this time of year the greens roll very true, and quite fast. If you haven't been there before, go check it out. It's totally with it, especially for the great rates on G.N.

A lot of up and down hills with some blind shots but not too bad. Easy to lose a few balls in long grass but the course is maintained well and the long grass just adds to the challenge making you keep it straight. Pro shop was very friendly.

I've played this course a few times this year and this is the best shape i 've seen. Greens were holding better than earlier in the year and i could hit out the traps. Great price and the fall color is already good.

the fairways were like a nice carpet and the greens were very nice as well.

The young man that I'm told is the manager at this course is disorganized and possesses virtually no customer service skills. I have been to this course twice this year and twice he has screwed up either the tee time or the price and tried to blame it on me. All the other staff seems very friendly and competent but they are sadly led by a bad manager.

Greens are granny, severe slopping on #14 (a par 3) very easy to 4 & 5 putt. #2 is sloped front to back. When the green is hard (most of the time), if you hit the green it goes off the back. Difficult to run the ball up, guarded by two front bunkers. Not a FUN course to play.

The course was in great shape: greens ran true, fairways and tees in good shape. The staff was very friendly, even allowing my little brother to ride with me at no charge. I will be back now that i know this course exists.

This course has an appropriate difficulty. I think I used every club in my bag and there are quite a few interesting shots. It would be a great course if only the back was in a s good of condition as the front. The greens on the back were in good shape; the rest required attention, particularly the bunkers.

Hate to see another good course decline year by year... Maybe budget issues like lots of courses. The bunkers are maybe the worst I have seen, some washed out, edges breaking down and tons of rocks... save your irons and take a drop out of them. Greens are decent. Need to trim some trees and get rid of a few too. Hope they turn it around next year, like to go back and see the old course...

Very nice course to play. Has dog legs and very nice greens. Was very impressed for a course stuck out in the wilderness. I will definitely play this course again.

This course is in great shape relative to others in the area. Its a better course for a better price then most outside of Grand Rapids.

Just 30 minutes from Grand Rapids and a well kept secret. Beautiful fairways, lovely wooded property with lots of wildlife. Very affordable - $12 for nine with cart senior rate. We will definitely bring our friends next time and play 18. It's been on our bucket list for a few years and we finally made the trek. It's like playing up north resort golf.

This course is a great challenge, it is in great condition and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Had a great time, i recorded an ace on the third hole. Greens were a little slow, fairways were okay, lot's of areas that need work.Bunkers were horrible, and unraked. Could be a very nice golf course. was worth the money we paid.

What a great course! It is very challenging and you have to be able to hit every club in your bag. It is also a fun course to play. It is by far and away one of my favorite area courses. The staff is very friendly, the chicken salad sandwich is to die for, and even the Greenskeeper has stopped and asked me my opinion on various aspects of the course. Perfect course to play.

Greens were a touch slow for me, but the course was in fantastic shape. Will play there again.

Pace of play really slowed down on the back nine. Got behind a foursome that should have let our twosome play through.
The course could have used a ranger for this. Did not see a ranger or cart drink person entire round.

My first time and I was impressed. A friendly smiling face greeted us and we arrived at noon on a beautiful day. Even though we were slow because of errant shots, the pace of play was very quick. The course is very nice and challenging, and would love to come back. However, at most tees the trash container was overflowing with empty beer cans. Either they hadn't been emptied for a week, or somebody drinks a lot of beer!
