Nice Course
The course is in great shape, and can be pretty challenging, especially from the back tees.
Great track north of town
Cedar Chase is a very solid track located north of GR. Greens were in fabulous shape. Back nine is a test after a score-able front. Overall a great value!
Great Price, Great Course
Enjoyed 18 holes for $16.00. Great Course for the first time going.
Beautiful Course
My wife and I really enjoyed this course.It's a little deceiving from the parking lot but it is a very nice layout carved into the beauty of the natural terrain and woods. The back nine is a little tougher than the front.
Tough but Excellent!
Some tough holes, but a great layout. #11 hole is tight and long....requires accurate play. The course is in very good shape although there are a few stones in the sand traps. The staff is super friendly. I got to the course early in the morning and was the first off for the day. I haven't seen this many sand traps on a course for a long time, but I guess it makes up for the fact that there are few water hazards. Finished in two hours and 40 minutes....I love it when I can breeze through a course! I highly recommend the course and will be back.

Course was in good condition. Greens rolled very well. We were all pleased with the course.
Can't beat it for the money!
I've played this course a few times in the past and it didn't disappoint. I got a golf now discount to play this course for $16 for 18 holes. I feel like I robbed the course for this price. The place was in great condition. The fairways were cut nice and short and the greens rolled true. This course has always been difficult and is ideal for golfers that want a real challenge. The only quips I would say would be that the greens didn't seem to hold well a lot of the time they released a lot and the sand traps tend to have plenty of rocks and pebbles strewn throughout. I can't wait to get there again.

Course is a great! Worth the drive. Probably the best value in west Michigan!

Cedar Chase is a very well kept course. Clean. Challenging. Staff very nice.
Great Course!
I've played this course a few times and it's been in great condition every time I've been out. A nice mix of some easy and some challenging holes. Overall great set up that requires a diversity of shots. No need to worry about a pretentious crowd or staff. Everyone always seems to be very friendly. Check out the price breaks on greens fees online...
Play this course before the fescue grows tall
Played 18 in 4 hours with a tight deadline as I had to get to work at 4. Paired with 2some who played relatively quickly first 3 holes then mysteriously lost a ball on par 5 #4. We played ahead. Ranger told us to play thru a couple of groups of Sparta HS golfers which we did. Fun course and yes keeping it out of the fescue helps, but in mid-April you get away with murder. Greens in very good shape as was course for this time of year. $25 was a GREAT GolfNow deal!
This course is in great shape
Course is in great shape. We were paired up with another twosome and moved right along. No waiting and no one pushing us. Saw a flock of turkey's walking across the fairway. Sand trapr could use a few less rocks in them.
good course
First time playing this course and for the money it was pretty good. I had heard lots of good things about it from many people. I don't think it lived up to my expectations but I still liked it. They worked on the greens sometime before I went so they were super sandy. I shot a 44 and that was including a triple and a double. So besides those 2 holes, the triple came on the first hole, I didn't think the course was that difficult. A 44 is pretty good for me ;)
Under repair
6 greens were unplayable because of sand. One was so bad someone wrote "DUMB" in the sand. We should have been told in clubhouse. Also fairway traps had gravel in with sand. One steep cart path was block with limbs for detour but no signs, very dangerous. I have played the course before & it was fine but not today. My advice is wait till next year!!!

Good overall experience. Played as a 2some fairly well through 16 holes.
This course is very nice.
My two teenaged kids and I played the course on Labor Day weekend. We've played a lot of golf this summer and Cedar Chase is in the best shape of any of them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The guy grooming the fairways even climbed off of his tractor to walk into the weeds and point out one of our balls (oops!) We only played nine holes so I could not rate the pace of play for 18. We did let a single golfer play through but after that we were never slowed, nor did we slow another player or group. We will play this course again.

Course was in good condition. Play was fast. I would play there again.
Destination Kohler - Champions' Trail Golf Package
Not a bad price for once a week but can add up for those who play more. There are a lot of other deals around $10 - $14 that are good for frequent players.
