Pierce Lake Golf Course

First time playing there and had a great time. Very challenging holes with a lot of blind shots and not knowing what's up ahead. Grass was great and the greens were in great shape-all but some scuffing up from previous play.

Would definitely play there again. Would have shot in the low 80's if I didn't have some blow-up holes and lost 6 balls and had 5 3-putt greens but that's golf!! At least for me!! Ha!!

I'll keep my day job for another year or so.

Than I can play more and mess up some more rounds.....

The greens are hard.. there's some very difficult holes from the golds and blues. Lots of deer if you play evening golf. Staff is friendly, they didn't come out and kick us off even tho it was around 9pm when we finished 18. First time I played the course it took over 6 hours and I only got to play 15 holes. But the last 2 times I've played out there has been worth the drive being able to get 18 in starting around 6.

Very professional Staff and Well, maintained course.

Happy that there were 10 min tee time intervals - a rarity in golf these days - but we still waited ~5 minutes on every tee. Played the course after a rainy day and there was water pooled on several holes. We were out on a hot afternoon weekday and it was still over 4 hours.

Course did not have liquor license so it's beer only. Maintenance guys decided to have a long pee contest in front of us teeing off on 14.

Really surprised that a county course wouldn't promote walking - there's no discount for playing without a cart. $32 for 9 holes keeps everyone who doesn't have 5 hours to golf away from the course.

The back 9 is more challenging than the front, which was more open. Just about every hole on the back was a tight fairway surrounded by trees. 18 was a 235 yard par 3 with an incredibly long green. Tee box signs did not have hole layouts. Cart paths on the back 9 were new and very smooth, but carts were limited to the paths. After 14 the path forks and there's no sign directing you to 15.

Course aesthetics were nice, just wish the highway wasn't right next to the course. Course was maintained well - it's just built in an area with a lot of water. Water doesn't come into play here - you lose your strokes in the woods. We saw 5 deer during the round.

Still an interesting enough layout and cheap enough round to try the course.

Play often at Pierce Lake. Great layout for a municipal golf course with numerous sets of tees that make it playable yet a challenge for golfers of all abilities. This season greens are faster making it necessary to pay attention to every putt. Fairways generous off the tee with greens protected by bunkers and hills. Always enjoy playing there and will continue being a weekly stop for our golf group.

It's a nice course. Some challenging holes. Course is in fair condition. Greens are difficult. Pace of play was ridiculously slow. I played solo caught up to a 4 some that let me play thru after 6 holes. Made the turn and there are 4 somes that are just teeing off. They said "sorry bud, we've been waiting to start" then continued to tee off. It's always garbage when a code sends players off the front and back.

Beautiful course. Condition of the course was very nice even with the downpour rain 3 holes in. Greens were in great condition and drained well after the amount of rain the course received.

Very nice couse but not to me. This course is not for beginner.

Play first time here is very challenging.

Only qualified person can really enjoy the real value of

this layout.

This course is beautiful, very well-maintained, and the pace of play is perfect. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely play here again.

Staff was very friendly, Course is very challenging with tough, but very true greens. Will definitely.play again and would give it a high recommendation.

There’s nothing negative I can say about this course, This is a well manicured course (greens are cut and rolled 5 days/wk), you won’t be disappointed.

You wont find another public course this well taken care of for the price in the area..cheap food and beer prices as well

Course was in great condition. Staff was very friendly. One of the best values in the area.

Only negative is that they need one more set of tees. The gold tees are 6800 yds and the blues are 6200. Either a new set around 6600 yds or a mixed set on the scorecard that makes sense would be good.

Will definitely be back.
