Great course
This course is in great condition, greens putt true and are a good speed. Not much for food options and there isn’t any cart on the course. Overall it’s still a great value and a nice place to play.
Beautiful and interesting.
Even though there was a down pour the same morning the course was amazing and full of fall color
Great track
Sleeper course!
Played 18
Fairways were in great condition, greens were in great condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The Tameracks is a true, Mid-Michigan Hidden Gem
The Tammeracks in Harrison is an amazing hidden gem and although it’s located in the middle of the state, it truly feels like the good courses one only finds in northern Michigan, but without the drive. The owners/staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They’re a small facility so their food selection is limited, but other than that, they have become my favorite mid-state golf course, especially for the money. If you’re after some fun, challenging golf with ample trees and water, add on terrific course conditions, you can’t go wrong playing this course. Exceptional value and course for the money!
Surprisingly nice and great value
Traveling up through Michigan toward the upper Peninsula I wanted to find a decent public course to play on after a long drive and motel stay found this little gem on golf now and paid $15 for a hot deal. For about the cost of a bucket of rain balls I played 18 holes on a delightful day. The course is not difficult, not long but a few of the holes are extremely challenging and the course condition was absolutely impeccable . The greens were as good as any high-end course , perfectly manicured and cut . Friendly staff, courteous foursomes let me as single play through . Highly recommended !
Rainy day
Even though it rained most of night and was misty through first half of 18, the course for the most part drained very well. Pace was also very good as there wasn’t many golfers being a Tuesday and rainy. The course was nice and challenging for never having been here before. Would definitely like to return. Very reasonably priced and good Hot Deals on Golf Now.
Golf carts
Course condition was great. Staff super nice. There weak spot is there golf carts. They need to update as they are in rough shape. Our cart was so loud you couldn't talk to your partner while driving..
Great course
The course is in excellent condition and the greens were challenging to putt on! A must golf course for this summer!
Tamaracks
The owner Mikes a great guy. Very personable and makes you feel like a regular. Staff is very friendly and professional. Nice course well maintained. Would suggest you bring a few extra balls if you dont play well around water. LOL I love the 18th if you hit a long drive you might want to drop down to a 200 yard iron and you will still only have a 150 shot into the green.
Mid Michigan Hidden Gem
I think this is probably one of the best courses in Mid-Michigan for the money. It is truly a hidden gem. Feels like golfing up north without the drive. Lots of water lots, lots of trees, plenty of challenges. It’s become one of my favorites in the area.
Extermely slow play
The course is nice but will never play again as it took 5 hours to play. This is not the first time that I have played the course and it is really slow play every time I have played. They do not give enough time between tee times and thus you are backed up starting on the very first hole and it only gets worse as you go.
