Interesting Layout
When I first pulled in the parking lot, I thought it looked like a goat ranch. In spite of the lack of curb appeal, I found the course to be fun and challenging. Some blind shots and undulating greens made things a little dicey. Great prices will bring me
what a surprise
very enjoyable course. we will definitely return. some very pretty holes. some easy and some difficult holes.
Didn't know they were still on golf now
They told me that it was funny because they told Golfnow to take them off for the year...They were very friendly and totally honored the golf, but just odd
Great little course with a great value
Course was in great shape except for the greens. They had just aerated them so putting was a little off. Course is not real long overall, but does have a few holes that require a decent drive and second shot to get to the green. Some holes have narrow fairways and a few have elevation changes to add a challenge. Plenty of trees, sand, and some water to add to the fun.
Shamrock hills
I didn't care for this place poor greens hard to tell which hole was which! In the middle of no where tee boxes were in even. Hard to tell hole lay outs back 9 was ok front just horrible
try another course
Not what I expected. Course was wet and soft. Too far away even for the price.
User friendly
The course treated us pretty good. It's open and for a golfer that shoots mid to high 40''s. Great course for the money.
Friday 11am
Staff was friendly and and even had my GolfNow reservation made 1 1/2 hrs earlier. Course was almost empty on a nice Friday at midday. Greens were in nice shape.
Made It Work
We purchased or outing thru GolfNow.com only to find upon or arrival that the course was booked for an outing and was supposed to have been blocked out by GolfNow. The staff was a bit frustrated by this but they sent us out in front of the outing so it worked out okay.
Course was nice, day was great, enjoyed every minute.
Cheap with coupon
With a coupon this course is fair for the price but it's not a very nice course if you pay full price--too much.
Great Course
Great course for all abilities; a great day of golf. We basically played at our own pace on a fairly busy course. Nice layout and never felt rushed. A lot of fun holes.
nice course needs upkeep
I got a very good deal for playing this course and was very pleased with the value for 18 holes with a cart. The only complaint I had was hole 10 sprinkler ran while we were trying to play it which made us skip a hole, kind of a bummer.
Shamrock Hills
Nice course, greens are a little rough but it"s early in the year.
A nice layout for price.. Fun to play
I would liken this course to a farmers country club. This is obviously a family owned club and the for what the course lacks in the tee box areas the staff more than makes up for it. If you are looking for a nice inexpensive family orientated business golf experience than you will not be disappointed. The layout is fun. Many of the greens have quite a bit of undulations and tilt. Some of the greens were burnt up but still playable.
The bar prices were very affordable. My wife had a mixed well drink for under 3 bucks.
Overall I would have rate the shape of the course a 3, but the staff gets a 5 star rating in my book.
