I Recommend This Course
One Of Detroit’s Best
Course is one of the few C H Alison courses you can play in the US and after the Tom Doak work to restore the Alison features, it is again a must play. The first time golfer feels like they are transported back to the Roaring 20s as you first encounter the palatial clubhouse and then see some of Detroit’s best houses around the perimeter of the course. The course is a terrific walk on mostly flat terrain. The course is quite playable off the tee; however, the difficulty comes around the greens. Raised plateau greens are surrounded by many deep bunkers.
Run don’t walk at the opportunity to play this classic Detroit course.
