Chandler Park Golf Course

I played channel of Park 25 years ago, it was pathetic and unsafe. I’ve heard many good things about the course so we decide to try it again, and was surprised by the good conditions I found. It’s an 18 hole course, so when I got there and there was five foursomes in front of me I knew it was gonna be like league play. It took over five hours to play 18 so there was frustration. But the layout of the course the sand traps were in good shape. There was some roughs that if you stay out of them, they were pretty to look at, and the green were in excellent condition and played quick…Overall, a good experience, check with the pro shop before going and make sure that you are in a non-bogged down situation.

For a Muni course and for the golfers here in Detroit, the length of the grass in the rough was very long. I would expect those conditions on a much more tour style course. It didn’t effect too much but golf balls we’re sinking under grass where they should normally be lying even in.

played by my self municipal course so conditions are as good as they are. old Donald Ross design. Smaller greens good over all experience needs some TLC some sand cart path investment but value remains high

Course was clean very nice, good fairways, and greens. Staff called and reminded me I forgot my range finder. Nice chipping/putting green near clubhouse. Carts are ok, no sand of club cleaner on them but other than that good stuff, worth it for the money. Pace of play was good 18 holes in like 4 hours.

Great Course, clean fairways, good greens worth the price at $23 for 18 holes its a steal.

is a mini on a beautiful day is late September so pace of play was Slooooow. I play a lot of singles so get paired up often. Some of nicest men I can recall. course just needs some $ investment and some TLC. However for golf now price and use of a redemption value was top shelf. The greens were better than I expected most ball marks were repaired now if we can just get guys to pick up their feet. I enjoyed round all be it a little slow for my liking.

Golf course was great but they over book and the Rangers can get pushy, a real “Hurry up and wait” kinda place. Great for the money though!

The greens are excellent except for somebody twisting feet and tearing spike marks, usual people not fixing ball marks. Fairways have some areas needing attention, holes and bare spots. Cart paths are showing years of wear, could use some work. It's a shame this course lost alot of yardage when I94 went through, plays a little short now. Still a classic design that has stood the test of time.

This is the closest course to my house and I think I am done playing here. I am so tired of every tee box waiting 15 minutes to tee off.

We were suppose to tee off at 6:32 and didn't tee off until 7pm due to it being so packed and then when 9pm stuck the ranger wouldn't even let us finish hole 9. They just overbook the heck out of this course which leads to super slow pace of play and beat up conditions. Very frustrating
