Stonehedge North Course at Gull Lake View Golf Club and Resort

About
Situated in the beautiful lake region of southwest Michigan, Gull Lake View Golf Club offers five scenic championship courses. The quality and variety offered by the courses and their convenient location less than three hours from Detroit, Toledo, and Chicago, have made Gull Lake a favorite destination for golfers from all over the Midwest, Great Lakes, and even parts of Canada. It is also only about an hour from Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Fort Wayne. Stonehedge North is the newest of the five courses. The diverse layout combines wide-open holes that play across grassy, windswept meadows with forested holes that feature dramatic elevation changes. The golf course consists of six par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s each, which also makes it an excellent scoring course for all skill levels.

Spectacular Course and Value
Beautiful course, great layout, in tremendous shape! Greens were receptive to approach shots but were quick and rolled well. Somewhat tight off the tee, but our group loved the layout!
Good course
Great course, challenging layout, well maintained. Cement cart paths run right along side the fairway, however, instead of off to the side along the tree-line. Miss the fairway by one yard and your ball might just bounce into to no-man’s-land because it landed on concrete
Good course. Slow pace took 2-1/2 hrs. to play first 9..

A fun 6 - 6 - 6
Stonehedge North is a unique course with 6 par 3’s, 4’s and 5’s. The course was I great shape the pro shop guys and the starter were very friendly. We got there a little early and the starter put us in front of a foursome. That was sweet, completed our round in under 4 hours.
Beautiful course!
absolutely beautiful course! We would love to play it again. It definitely has some challenge, but you can score the greens roll perfectly.! great course
Would highly recommend the course, we played the North course, looking forward to playing the other courses as well.
Love Stonehedge North
My bogey or better friends and I travel 50 minutes from the GR area to play Stonehedge North and Stoatin Brae a few times a year. Stoatin Brae is the best of all of the 6 courses because of its uniqueness, but you pay a good premium compared to the others.
Stonehedge North is a very close second and was actually our first choice when comparing prices 10/04/23. Love the challenging course, the condition of the course, the size of the fairways and greens, and having 6 par 3s, 6 par 4s, and 6 par 5s. Pace of play always seems reasonable at worst. I think three of us were around in 3-3.5 hours.
I will not play Stonehedge South or any of the other 4 courses because they are simply inferior to North and not worth the drive in comparison. Go North...wait, on second thought don't go North...I don't want you taking our tee time.
Favorite Gull Lake View golf course yet
While I haven't played Stoatin Brae, I have played the other 5 courses. This course is really fun and has a great putting green.
Wish they had electric carts. The small restaurant for the North Course was open for just a little bit, but we saw it had closed at like 12:45 PM - which seemed really odd. We had to go to the main restaurant over by the South course if we wanted anything.
