About
Dunham Hills Golf Club is situated amidst rolling hills and mature trees. The course is a demanding, but fun test of your skills. The topography presents challenging elevation changes throughout the course but accurate shots will be rewarded with level lies. The undulating fairways and lightning fast greens provide a variety of different shot options that will please the skilled shot-maker. Be prepared to utilize every club in your bag. Accuracy is essential on every hole in order to avoid the unpleasant lies that lurk beneath the hardwoods and pines but the trick is to keep the ball on the fairway. The layout opens with a tree-lined par 4 that is representative of the entire golf course. This tricky hole features a single bunker placed in front of a green that is sloped left to right.

Underaated Gem
DH is one of the great underated gems in SE Michigan! Old school layout with rolling hills (duh) and mature trees. No waterfalls or boulders, just fast greens and great shot values
Talking about value, $18 hot.deal for 18 holes! wORTH TWICE the price!!

Not a good day at the course
To many people on the course. Staff yelling at us to hurry up when we have been waiting on every hole to hit. Unfortunate because I used to like the course but will most likely never go back

A short game challenge
The course is challenging because of how tight it is, but what really gets you is how slick the greens are. Seemingly every pin position was in a tough spot and if you don't know the course and leave it in a bad spot on the green, than you're going to have a heck of a time with a two-putt. I paid $23 and feel like I got a great deal.

A great day out
The course is as good as it gets value for money a steel a pleasure I could take as a home course But it is to far to travel on a regular basis you will not be disappointed.

Saturday afternoon slowdown
Great course, great staff, practice facility- everything is good. I have played the course at least a dozen times and always enjoy the challenge. Issue today was pace of play. They need to space their tee times 10 mins apart. 1st hole is easy but the next 3-4 are difficult. Second tee had three groups on it. As did the next few tees. Poor starting - multiple twosomes mixed in amongst foursomes. Pair people up!! Overall it's a great place and an excellent value. I will be back but will stick to morning rounds only! Won't do a weekend afternoon again.

Great course
Course is a great challenge for all of your skills. All facets of your game are tested. This is not a course for beginners. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Love the challenge i will be back.

Great course
Nice course, good value. It was very busy as it was the first weekend of nice weather...they still did a great job moving everyone along. The course was in good condition, especially early in the season. Greens were excellent.

Good Condition, Open Late in the Season
Second time playing this course. It is one of the few courses in Michigan to be open this late into December (even though it is 50º this year).
Rolling terrain is the most challenging aspect of the course. It is wise to be sure no one is over the hill in front before teeing off.
The only "gripe" is that there were few guides to the next hole, which made it challenging to know where to go next.

I would suggest added a set of senior tee boxes to be 5600-5800 yards long.

Great Value
The course is in great condition for the last bit of golf for the year. I got a great Hot Deals price and couldn't turn it down. The course has a lot of trees, but it wasn't too hard finding your ball amongst the fallen leaves as long as you kept it in play. The pace of play was great since there were only true golfers playing this time of year. It only took 3.5 hours. The greens and fairways are in excellent condition. Green speed is fair and the ball runs true. There are a couple of holes on the back nine with blind shots since the course is hilly, namely 10 and 15. The carts have ball washers and club cleaners attached...a great feature I wish all courses would adopt.

Do not play this course in the Fall
I've played this course many times this year and its typically in above average condition, but today there was so many leaves on the course the should not have let anybody play. Golfers were searching for every ball as if it was their last. On top of that most of the other golfers were looking for their balls on other fairways! Due to this the pace of pay was slow and added to the frustration. Most courses do a great job with fall leaf cleanup but there was obviously no attempt made here.
We're sorry for your poor experience and the frustration you had during your round. With the many different types of trees on our golf course, the leaves are an issue that will be addressed and improved upon. We hope to see you back for a more enjoyable experience next time.

always in top condition--greens are in tour shape--all maintenance is meticulous--staff friendly and courteous--may purchase membership next spring--a must play for all

great test
I have played this course many times. Very late in the year and the course was in fantastic shape. Greens even though they have been aerated were fast and mostly smooth. Fairways in great shape. Many leaves when you leave the fairway, but they had people blowig them off the course and mulching them to make it easier to find wayward shots. Great deal on Golf now. I love this course. If you can't break 80 stay away from the back tees. Very long from the back tees on some holes. Amazing to see people who cannot break 80 from the womens tees playing the back, why? Not a course for beginners. Stay away. I love playing there, great test for your game, every club in your back is used. Great challenge.
