2nd green. This is a long par 3 and the green is quite small. This hole is a tone setter for a round if I've ever seen one. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

The 5th hole here is a par three with a carry over water. The green is slightly crowned so it plays small. A picturesque hole. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

The 15th green here is one of the more picturesque on the course. Another slightly crowned green than notches itself behind a front left bunker. whatever you do, don't go in that bunker as there is water straight behind the green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022
Great course with nice greens. Very close to my house.
This course is not as tight as I thought it was from the drone view. You need to hit him straight on this course, but it’s not ridiculous. The greens are good enough to hold your ball if you have a high ball flight.
Fast greens!
This course was very nice to a beginner golfer. Mature trees throughout the course provide a narrow drive off 2 or 3 holes but otherwise it has inviting fairways. It might be my inexperience but the greens were rolling faster than anticipated and it was tough to keep the ball on the green when pitching on.
Great pace of play, just under 4hrs for 18 holes with a pit stop at the turn. Only thing to note is there are no rest stops on the course or much privacy to step off so make sure to use the bathroom at the clubhouse.
Watch out for league play when signing up for hot deal
While the course was in good shape, the hot deal time overlapped the start of a Monday night league. We couldn’t go from home 9 to 10, we had to either wait for at least 4 groups, play the front 9 again or drive ahead of the league that started. We had to drive ahead 6 holes to get in front of the golfers on the course so we could finish playing our round. The league was very slow and pace of play wasn’t good after hole 9.
Booking
Only got to play 9 holes as they sent 48 league members off the back as soon as we made the turn. Was told to “go buy a beer and wait” ..
Better than expected
Nice course. Small yet tough greens.. excellent tee box's, perfect fairways.. well done groundskeepers
Slow greens and fast play
Fall is here and getting hard to find balls with leaves coming down. Fairways are in good condition, but tee boxes are not.
Well kept course and friendly staff
Will certainly golf here again soon. The only thing I would do differently is not use the app to check-in. Apparently this app wreaks havoc on the computer systems at some courses. I would hope the people behind the app would help these little courses out instead of leaving a mess for them.
Outing
When we got to the course there was and outing going on. I think this needs to be noted when you book your round. This made the pace of play a lot slower than it should have been.
Great Condition for a great value
Running deer, swimming geese are a few things you'll see on your round here. The greens had big aeration holes other than that the course was in good condition and is fun to play. I will definitely play it again.
No cart person out when I was there and it was fairly backed up. The staff is ok definitely wouldn't call them over friendly but I didn't have any issues
SLOW Greens
This course wasn’t terrible, but definitely has some of the slowest greens I’ve ever played and the tee boxes had longer grass than the fairways. In an effort to be fair, I did play on the day after we got a lot of rain and it’s possible they were planning to mow, but couldn’t because of how wet the course was.
It’s an affordable course, pace of play on a Wednesday afternoon was quick, and had the greens been faster, I probably would have offered a better rating. But for $20 what can you really expect.
Lots of signs
I have a feeling this course has been around for a while and they've had to put up with a lot of crap from patrons because there were signs everywhere telling people not to do certain things. This is one of the few courses in the area that makes you sign an agreement in exchange for a golf cart.
It's a barebones course, although they did have ball cleaners which was a good surprise. No divot repair mix, no water on the course (it was 85 and humid), no GPS, no coolers (even had signs saying you couldn't bring your own), no drink carts.
Conditions were good. Good amount of grass on the course - not much in terms of mud. No second cut off fairway, grass on tee box and fairway was a bit long. Greens were surprisingly good, ran a little slow. Tee boxes were flat.
Surprised at how many signs were saying "cart path only", felt like every 2-3 holes. The cart paths aren't really paths, it's a gravel/grass mix, very bumpy if you try and stick to them. The course was dry.
There were some interesting holes where you had to make decisions off the tee. #9 is either a 260+ carry from an elevated tee box down wind over water, or a <180 yard layup. Several holes had trees lining both sides that required you to keep it low and straight off the tee. It's a short course so there are some drivable Par 4's and the longest Par 5 is only 515 from the back tees. Some greens have steep run offs to be mindful of, but greenside bunkers were rare. Greens were average sized and relatively flat which made it easy to score well.
The course runs tee times on 8 minute intervals so don't go out if the course is crowded or you're looking at a 5 hour round. It was surprisingly empty on a Sunday morning and we were able to get done quickly.

Thank you for your review.Unfortunately the signage on the course was in response to the 4.5" of rain we received for the previous 2 days that shut down most every course in our region due to flooding. This is also behind the long fairways and tee boxes as the maintenance team was unable to use the heavy mowers with our getting stuck. I would invite you to give us a try again when the weather conditions are more favorable to play. IWGC
