Inkster Valley Golf Club

I like the golf course overall, but the greens are slow, no one fixes the divots from their golf balls, and the course could use some fertilizer. What I can say is overall the course is a bit challenging and I like the way it's laid out, I would definitely recommend this course to my friends and family, just wish it had a little more upkeep on the greens.

What an awesome layout requiring you to hit all kinds of different shots. It's a shame the course chooses to use minimum maintenance. Definitely worth playing, just don't expect a well manicured golf course.

Course is in horrible condition. Don't waste your money

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I read many reviews on it before I booked it, and was expecting a lot less challenging experience. As I just stated, this course was very challenging. If you don't have much accuracy, this could be a course where you might lose a lot of balls. There was a lot of different layouts to keep you engaged and interested. I got a deal to play for under $20. I plan on playing here in the future, I could quickly see this course becoming one of my favorites.

Bring from the general area, I have played Inkster Valley numerous times over the years. This track has always provided a pleasurable round for a great value. I have not played the course in a few years but decided to check it out after seeing a hot deal for $10, tough to beat. After a few holes it was pretty obvious that management and ownership are just letting this course go. The carts were barely running and have seen better days, as has the rest of the course. Fairways were the length of the first cut at most courses. Greens were even more frustrating, marked everywhere with unrepaired ball marks and rolled far from true. With so many value courses in this area I will not be back to play here for sometime until new ownership takes over (the sooner, the better). This track has great potential, it just needs some TLC. Also, a bulletproof wall should be constructed on hole #7 tee box. Knowing the area and how bad it has gotten lately, we rushed to hit our tee shots in fear of catching a stray bullet.

Haven't played the course in a couple of years, now will not be back. The course has dandelions growing everywhere in the fairways, rough Eben some on the greens. Tree box's were bare very disappointed because I know what the course used to be like which was great very sad to see not worthy of the price when with a discount.

Challenging course with the wind conditions, but still had a great time. Will try again later in the season.

Couldn't beat the Golf Now deal, but I would pay more to golf this course again. The entire course was in really good shape for so early in the season, I can't imagine what it will look like later! Tough course, need an extra sleeve of balls, but now that I've played it I could manage my shots a little better. I really like how the river comes into play on so many holes, the layout is excellent. Really like this place!

The overall course conditions were fair for this time of year. The fairways and greens were in good shape. However, the bunkers are more like dirt traps than sand traps. All sand traps need to be refilled with a fresh supply of real sand. In addition, there should be at least one rake at each bunker. Be aware that the golf carts do not have windshields for those cold days.

Very nice course and clubhouse. Not as busy as most courses for this time of year. I think the course is too challenging for the average weekly golfer. You have to be fairly long to reach the greens in regulation because of the forced carries in front of most greens. Back 9 is more open and a lot easier than the front nine.

Great course located right in the city! Very accommodating with a friendly staff.

For early April, greens were in very good shape. Some tee boxes and sand traps were a little rough and could use some TLC. For the price though we were satisfied.

They are letting this course go. Bunkers and greens still in terrible shape. I have played here every year since they opened. They are not maintaining this course. Will not be back.

actually the price got me there.i promised myself that I wouldn't go back after the guy in charge screamed at two Asians for coming in and actually had the nerve to want to order something from the grill while he had three people waiting in line.I thought the idiot was yelling at me when he came charging to the grill.I was so embarrassed for the two guys I called someone at the Inkster hall to complain,but like all city and county employees they protect each other

Got a fall awesome deal so tried a new experience. Some trouble with leaves, of course, and some fairways were a bit patchy in spots, but the layout held my interest, and it was a fair test of golf. Lots of doglegs and some swamps and water, but most fairways were surprisingly generous and greens seemed true. An enjoyable round of golf (very fast due to few people playing) in spite of less-than-ideal fall conditions. Local knowledge would have helped on a few holes. Would definitely return, if discounted.

First time through found it fairly difficult as learning the course. Played jut the back nine twice as front 9 being aerated. Price was right however as only $13. Pack an extra sleeve for the back 9 if playing for first time..

Course was in good condition and was spaced out so we kept good pace. Played other times n they crowded course guess got lucky this time

Challenging course your first couple of rounds

Greens need work. People tend not to repair thier ball marks.

Worst bunkers in state. Bunkers weren't playable in late August. Played early in the season and just thought that hadn't got to them. According to one of the players in the group, bunkers haven't been done all year. Virtually no sand in the bunkers, mud and dried up scale. Last time I'll play. Also no marshall in sight, group in front of us had us waitng all day and there was no group in front of them
