About
Situated just north of Ithaca's city limits, Fields Golf Course is just off US 127, providing easy highway access. It has a central location that is less than an hour from Lansing and only 25 minutes south of Mt. Pleasant, making it a great meeting point. The par-70 layout measures a player-friendly 5,600 yards. The golf course will appeal to all players, including seniors, women, and juniors. The terrain is mostly flat though there are a few subtle but tricky slopes. A smattering of trees frame the holes and you will also come across several strategically placed bunkers, but there is nothing that is overly challenging for the high handicapper. In addition to the course, the Fields also offers a practice area with a driving range and practice green.

Wierd policies and recently hiked prices
The course always has leagues or scrambles going on but will still allow you to book a tee time,
Then when you show up for your tee time they tell you to start on back or front 9 depending and say that league golfers aren’t supposed to let you play through, so the pace of play can be really bad at times.
They also recently hiked prices since last year so I’m liking the course less and less.
Course itself isn’t bad, maintenance of rough can be hit or miss though. Some forgiving holes since the course itself is mostly open fields.
Great bang for your buck
The course was in great shape! The carts are new and nice with club and ball washers. Pace of play was only issue on front 9 a twosome where hitting multiple balls and would not let us play through. Back 9 went quick and smooth.

Staff was super friendly. Made it fun from the start.

Very good value for the price. Course was in real good condition. Definitely play there again.
Nice 20 to $28 dollar course horrible hole set up
Course is in good condition but if you are not a person that golfs on this course often or a first timer you will get lost. The staff is super nice and clubhouse offers a good amount but the hole layouts and signs to the next hole are either horrible or not to be found.

Great Sunday with Friends
Had a wonderful day at the Fields Golf Course. It was sunny and cool. Because it's Fall, the tree leaves are covering the rough areas and the frequency rains have left the course wet in low areas. The wind was blowing at 10 - 20 mph. The greens and fairways were Excellent. The staff was friendly and professional. We had a great day at the Fields Golf Course.
