About
Situated just north of Ithaca's city limits, Fields Golf Course is just off US 127, providing easy highway access. It has a central location that is less than an hour from Lansing and only 25 minutes south of Mt. Pleasant, making it a great meeting point. The par-70 layout measures a player-friendly 5,600 yards. The golf course will appeal to all players, including seniors, women, and juniors. The terrain is mostly flat though there are a few subtle but tricky slopes. A smattering of trees frame the holes and you will also come across several strategically placed bunkers, but there is nothing that is overly challenging for the high handicapper. In addition to the course, the Fields also offers a practice area with a driving range and practice green.

Great Family Fun
The people at the Fields were nothing but accommodating and nice to my family. We enjoyed a chicken sandwich and chicken wings prior to our round and the pro shop manager treated us like we were regulars. Great impression. We will be back.
I'll return
Very well maintained moderately easy course. My wife and I are new golfers and this course was perfect for us. The better golfer would be challenged by taking more risks. I would golf here again with no hesitation. Very helpful, courteous staff.
Nice Round of Golf
The fairways and the the greens are in wonderful condition. We really enjoyed our round of golf at The Fields. The course is not overly difficult, but is very fun to play. I would recommend it to the casual golfer. I will be back!
The length of the holes are just right for the average golfer.
The course was in great shape, but the greens were a little on the slow side for me.

This was well worth the drive from Midland. It is a very well kept course. We will play it again.

The round we played was excellent. The whole golf coarse was very well groom. Excellent carts and the staff made u feel like u were important. I would recommend this coarse to everyone
Course was challenging
The greens were quick especially downhill. Some greens have a lot of slope. Some tree issues if you play left or right of the fairway. Great course for the price.

Fun course and has come a long ways with new owners. Not probably for long or low handicappers. 60 years old and wife and I love it.
Best Course in Gratiot County
Played The Fields Golf Course on Saturday, June 28th. I've played the course many times before but the course is in the best shape it's ever been in. The grounds staff does an excellent job keeping the course in great shape. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you're having a good time. I'd highly recommend this course to golfers of any skill level. If you haven't played The Fields in the last few years give it a shot, the course is unbelievable and you won't recognize the clubhouse.
