About
Wallinwood Springs Golf Club is bordered by the scenic Grand River on its eastern side. The challenging layout boasts an island green, an island tee, and a peninsula fairway. The golf course has two distinctly different nines, beginning with an open Scottish-links layout before moving onto the back nine, which is enclosed by mature trees. Wind definitely plays a role on the front nine and on the backside of the course there is a 26-acre, man-made lake, where if you're not careful you'll be met with a watery grave on five holes. Extensive mounding is paired with 30 strategically placed sand traps to provide even more challenges. The most difficult hole on the golf course is the par-4 16th, which stretches to more than 400 yards. Golfers will need a long, straight drive from the island tee in order to avoid the water on both sides of the fairway.

Horrible Experience start to Finish
Paid $20 to make the tee time at 8:20 am. I show up to the course and they tell me that the booked an outing so we would be pushed back 40 minutes. Then we tee off and it took 2:45 to play the front 9. We went in to purchase a 6 pack of Good Boys which cost $30, we had to find somebody to take our money, after 10 minutes she finally came to help us. They let the group behind us play through us and then we waited 2 minutes for every shot. Had to leave the course without finishing at 1:40 pm to make a 3:00 commitment, if I would have finished with my partners, with a 8:20 am tee time, I would have finished at 2:05. The response in the pro shop, “what do you expect?”
Terrible Experience
The course is in really rough shape. There is no "actual" sand in the sand traps and they littered with fist sized rocks and grass growing in some of them. I didn't play out of them when I was in them as I didn't want to damage my clubs. Four greens were pretty much unplayable due to not just dry spots but actual missing grass and large dirt sections, I would guess that either they don't have a course superintendent or the one they have is incompetent. For the $92 that I paid for my daughter and I to play, there really should be a way to get some portion of a refund.

Surprisingly very good course.
Very hesitant after reading reviews. Course in very good shape. Greens were very fast.Pace of play could have been better due a large group outing who had 3 tee times in front of ours had a couple guys late resulting in our group teeing off 20 minutes later so they could keep their groups together. A starter would have helped but course does not use one.
Will play again.
Good Value
2 Greens and 2 tee boxes were a bit jacked up but nothing bad. Layout of course was great and definitely a good course for the price.
Why so much money
The course is priced too high for the conditions that it is in. Wouldn’t recommend playing right now.

Ridiculous charges
Booked thru GolfNow. No option to book a walking round. Paid GolfNow their fee thru the app when you get to the course you pay the clubhouse direct the green fees.
They refused to let me pay walking rate when I wanted to walk. Forced me to pay cart fee since that was what I booked even though it wasn’t an option at time of booking. Handed the course full payment as they acted like somehow Golfnow forced it on them.
It’s this paralysis of technology and lack of true customer service that makes me not to want to play here ever again.

Excellent day of golf
Course was in very good shape and we really enjoyed our round. So much so, that we came back the next day played it again.
Back 9 is much more challenging than the front 9 with more water and narrower fairways.

Morning golf
Hunted for low cost golf on a Friday. This was it. Wide variety of holes. Some good, some not so good. Front nine open. Back nine target golf.

Really well kept. I didn’t feel rushed or have to wait at any holes. We played the front 9 and I really enjoyed the variety. I’ll definitely be back!

Was overcharged. Guy inn the pro shop was rude about it, interested in 'proving' he is right, rather than resolve the issue.
Front 9 is great! Slow, but very nice course. Back 9 is not well looked after
