12th green. This is a very challenging approach shot on an already long hole bordered by out of bounds on the right. Those three large cavernous bunkers are always a threat. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

The 13th green. What a view of the hole. This is a short risk reward par 4 with a 240 yard carry over the reeds in order to reach the second fairway just short of the green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

16th green. This is the highest point on the golf course. What a view of the fairway and the willows. Very tough approach shot as it plays 50 feet if not more uphill and it is tough to hold the green even with a wedge. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Beautiful course
Very scenic and pretty course. For a Thursday is was busy as it seems this is a favoured course by the local residents. Nice golf round and would go back.

Friendly staff
I arrived a bit earlier than my tee time but because they had an earlier one open they let me tee off as soon as I was ready.
I was playing on my own and I was asked the join a threesome Of older club members all in all I had another great game of golf on s real nice course

Great course
The course was in great condition for this time of year
It was not busy so I played right thru
The course was clean and everything was as it should be

In good shape for being this early in the season
Overall the course was in pretty good shape for being this early. Front 9 was pretty dry, back 9 was still a little soggy in spots (explains the cart paths only).

Great Conditions
It's a beautiful course with well thought out tee boxes for my wife and self. We both thought the conditions absolutely perfect for September. Teamed up with a couple of local golfers who provided great company. Top notch course!!

Slow play
Course should alert you if your tee time is up against an outing! Should have a few extra rangers policing the extremely slow play! If I didn’t prepay and drive an hour to play I would have asked for money back!

Great Course
A beautiful course that is always very well maintained. The front nine is gettable, then make the turn and a totally different nine awaits you. Just make sure to take 1 or 2 extra clubs on approach shots on the back nine.

Best Around
This course is by far the best in the area. It definitely holds its own against a couple other nearby courses that charge a lot more to play them. Lapeer CC is kept in great shape, and in peak season, the green speeds get lightning quick! Because of all of this, it is often very busy which can slow down play a bit. Play it during off peak times and it's a dream!

Wonderful day
I found the course very well maintained. Roughs were easy to play out of, fairways were generous and greens were very fair and consistent. Course had great elevations and as I am a senior the 5400 yardage from the gold tees allowed me to shoot an 81. I wish the course was closer to me because I really want to go back. The only down side is that the course is very busy and of course that means a probable 5 hour round. I recommend that you book a round and expect to play a great course at a slow pace.

Loved it!
Beautiful and challenging course. The grounds crew has this course in pristine playing conditions. I intend to play this course again. The greens are challenging and require that you know your yardages.
