Lapeer Country Club

If this is your first time playing here you will get lost having to cross the parking lot a few times to start your round , make the turn and go from hole to hole a couple different times. All in all , for the money it’s a nice course. It’s easy , short, not much trouble. Greens are smooth and kept up nice but are a little spongy and slow but for the cost of this course you can’t beat it. No driving on site , you have to go hit a bucket at the driving range/putt putt down and across the street. Pace of play was decent , it was Memorial Day so we knew it would be slow but there was no ranger on the course so we had to pass a 4 some, we were a 3 some, because it was going to be a 6 hour round behind them, a ranger could have sped things up or had us play through them. All in al , great value , no burnt spots, no bare spots, fairways were nice , bunkers were nice , great value.

The course was in very good condition. There are a number of scenic holes with some challenging up and down fairways.

Well laid out. Pace was very fast.. there wasn’t any waiting around. Course was in excellent shape! Will definitely be back to play again

Saw the deal on GolfNow. Decided to jump at the $17 savings. Showed up to find carts lined up for 30 yards on the 1st tee. MAJOR over booking. Went to check in and had to wait for the employee to finish being short and rude with the customers ahead of me before he could be short and rude with me. Told him my tee time and name and he told me someone else was booked for that time. His partner came over and said - Oh well, get him out there anyway. And then I knew how the overbooking got so out of control.

Such a slllloooowwww and unenjoyable round. And considering the usual cost is higher than most courses around here and that it offered no great improvement over the rest, can't see where the higher cost was justified.

All in all, bad experience for me.

I have played this course many times, it's well maintained and very scenic & a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are all very helpful and nice. I enjoy the beautiful clubhouse, food and views of the nearby lake. You can't beat the prices!

The weather was the best. Course was so green for a late October day. Green were in great condition. Minimal leaves. Price per round with cart. Well worth it.

Condition of the course was perfect and the greens are as much fun as riding a roller coaster (very apt comparison!). Speed of the greens and the undulations of the greens are very challenging, but a boatload of fun. Can't wait to go back. Clubhouse extremely welcoming and treated us as members.

The course is in great shape! Some Elevated greens & many greens are challenging! Well maintained and the staff is very friendly!

My only suggestion is having a Ranger on the Busy Weekends. Pace of play can be slow & some golfers are oblivious of golf etiquette.

I've played this course many times and it's in really great shape. Greens roll well, but some are treacherous. Knock it a little too hard and you're off the green.

Elevated tee boxes and greens with some deep valleys on some holes definitely adds challenge to the course. Unfortunately pace of play was horrible. 5-hour rounds are no fun. Waiting on every shot. Maybe that's the norm for Michigan since their golf season is rather short. Play it during the week and it can probably be done in 3 1/2 hours.

It was a good challenging course. Well kept any a good layout.

it started with clubhouse attendant asking rudely if i had a collared shirt. i was wearing a clean white shirt because it was ninety degrees. we got to tee off 15 min early because there was no starter. as soon as we were waiting on first fairway to shoot at green the group behind us stated hitting balls at us. this happened all day. every hole took at least 20 min. had to wait every shot. round took more than 5.5 hours! no marshall anywhere. i will never go back.
