12th green. This is a very challenging approach shot on an already long hole bordered by out of bounds on the right. Those three large cavernous bunkers are always a threat. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

16th green. This is the highest point on the golf course. What a view of the fairway and the willows. Very tough approach shot as it plays 50 feet if not more uphill and it is tough to hold the green even with a wedge. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Great Track
Third time playing here with a group of 8.
Everyone enjoyed it-- greens and fairways in good shape.
Many interesting holes-not needing a driver on some par 4's......a few long par 3's.
Great value.......we'll be back
Will humble even the intermediate golfer.
The course was in great shape and very challenging, especially the greens.

Very impressed with greens. Not happy about a fivesome they allowed on course, with 2 of them walking!!!
Great shape
Course was in great shape. Great layout. Some very challenging holes. Several 200 plus Par 3's and uphill par 4 approaches. Very playable, plenty of room off the tee. Enough easier holes to give you a nice blend. Loved the course and conditions.

Gordy (owner) is a hands on kind of guy. Couse is always in great shape, a lot of fun to play, and reasonably priced. You cant go wrong making a tee time at LCC
fun course
but the pace of play was horrible cause of the groups I front of me it took 4 1/2 hrs to play 18 by myself
Unbelievable course for an unbelievable price
The title tells it all. I think the value for this course is GREAT!!! I had heard about this course for many years but just started playing it this year. I think the course is somewhat challenging to the average golfer. Well placed bunkers and hazards make what is otherwise a shorter course more challenging.
Worth The Drive
Played for the first time, 4 hour round, Priced right, Course was in great shape. Should not have had to wait for mower on 2 greens on back 9 (10am tee time) but overall great experience. It was worth the drive, I will be back and recommend to my friends!
weekend with the guys
Course and people were great. Tough challenge putting on the greens. Ran true. If I lived in the area, this would be one of my favorites.
For the healthy.
I have bad knees and this course wasn't easy on them. Really nice course but I should have gotten a handicap flag. Lots of up and down the hills.
It was fun though. Slow play, but steady. Course was in nice condition. Really had a nice day, well, except for the knees.
Hole in one, on number 14, 152 yard, 7 iron. 1:04pm tee time Lapeer Country Club
I got a hole in one on number 14! First one ever. I was paired up with 3 other golfers that witnessed it (John, Alex, and John). I notified the golf course and they recommended that I write this review. It was a great day, and I enjoyed the golf course greatly. I will go back the next chance I get. Thanks
Nice course near the Flint area
I've played Lapeer several times now...nice course. Pace was slow today...5 people playing together two groups ahead of us.
Very nice and well maintained course
This course has many elevation changes and challenging greens. The personnel were very friendly and helpful.
nice layout
Grass on course a little trampled down due to a scramble in the morning. I also wasn't fond of the 18th hole being a par 3. Rest of course was quite challenging especially with the elevation changes on the back 9.
Great course but slow when we played
Overall the course was very challenging. Lots of hills and tough greens. It was in excellent shape. The only bad part was the slow play. 3 hours to play the front 9. Waited at every hole. A bit quicker on the back. Hard to get into a rhythm. Long par 3s. Beautiful course. Would love to go back when it's not so slow.
overbooked!!!
We had a 3 plus hour 9 hole round due to the course over booking. We pulled up to the first hole and had 3 groups ahead of us all waiting to tee off. Within 10 min there were an additional 2 groups waiting behind us. 1 hr after our tee time we had completely 2 holes. ABSURD!
BEAUTY
LOVE THIS PLACE, VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, CARTS ARE VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED.
Fun and in good condition
I like the 5 par 5s. Par 4s are rather short and easy
Slowwwwwwwwwww
Stuck behind a very slow foursome. We looked back and all were waiting to play. They were several holes behind the group in front of them. We told front desk on the turn but they did't take any action. We left after 14. Oh, the maintenance worker moved my ball on the fairway so he could mow. I like the course but.........
