Won’t be back.
My first indicator I should of left was walking in. Other players were wearing wife beater tank tops and sandals, saw others wearing stained white t shirts. Managment needs to realize this makes your course look bad for first impressions on new players.
The pro shop and bar didn’t have change for anything, had to over pay and over tip. Tried to use card instead of cash at the pro shop since there was no change and was told I had to pay cash since that’s how it was rung up.
The corona I got at the bar literally came out of a box and were warm . I’m not sure if I’m just not use to warm beer but the beers tasted absolutely awful, ended up with 1 cold one and it was still not drinkable. Other people got them too and said the same thing. Ended up throwing them all away, check the trash can by the cart return.
I would say the carts are in poor condition but iv seen worse.
All this was before I even got onto the actual course and would make me never come back. The front 9 is absolutely terrible, really long grass gonna lose balls easily if you don’t land center of fairway every shot. Tee boxes are cement and destroyed, the greens are decent I will say that. Back 9 was slightly better, still burnt to oblivion but seemed cut better somehow. Pace of play is terrible, groups of people holding up the tee box on hole 10 had to skip hole 10-11 because they were partying outside their cart for 15 minutes.
Wrapping up whole 18 we went to the putting green, we dropped a couple balls and were practicing around for a few minutes. The owner/manager came out with his son and picked up all the balls on the green including ours and when we told him he took our balls he told us “it’s really not a big deal guys”.
Absolute waste of money and will never be back. I drove a hour and a half to play this course because of the good reviews. I play golf 5-6 days a week and usually like to throw 3 new courses in a week.
Yup
Rolling hills… rolling cart… barely.
Hills… nope
Super friendly staff.
Weird layout
Fairways and greens were in pretty good shape.
What's going on with new owners?
Just saw on Facebook that new owners removed a ladies league from the schedule because they wanted to walk and not be charged for a cart. This is how Andy and Martin are going to treat ladies? Lots of courses in the area. I'll never play there again.
What Hills?
Played in early November for a great low price. Course conditions reflected the season. Anytime you can get out this late in the season is a bonus.
Rolling Hills
Interesting course. We enjoyed playing it and will probably play it again sometime.
Nice course
Got a week day hot deal and glad I gave the course a try. Nice greens. Has a few long holes. Good course for the value for sure.
Great Bang for the Buck
Been there a few times. Great value course. And you can tell the new management is putting in a lot more effort. Excited to see how it’ll improve even more!
