Fun course to play
Course has driving range and putting greens for practice. Has a nice little bar and small pro shop. Course is fairly straight forward not to difficult have some patience on the weekends but overall 18 holes takes about 4 hours. Some tee boxes are beat up and some greens need work fairly ways are ok as well. One plus about this course is the carts are great! I been here 4 times in the 26' season and had a good time each time ive played!
Cow Pasture with a clown in the pro shop
First of all when I arrived proshop staff put his hands up in the air and said what do you want? I said I have a tee time at 10Am. He said good for you. He never told me about an outing in front of me which was 32 guys. I got to the first T waited for four golfers in the outing hit eight balls each 35 minutes on the first hole alone. You cannot tell a difference between the fairway and the rough. They use zero turn mowers to cut the grass. The greens have a major case of alopecia with patches of fur. For you that say that’s why it’s only $40 for 18 holes. You’re not supposed to compress your golf ball with your putter to get it to the hole. I golfed here two years ago and told myself I would never come again because the same Pro Shop clown saw that I brought my son and he turned me away and said absolutely not. I do not allow kids to Golf here. I know honestly feel bad for anyone who enjoys this atmosphere. Never again I promise
Has Potential
I have played this course many times. I enjoy the layout and level of difficulty. However, most of the t boxes are just patches of dirt and uneven. The t times are only 4 or 6 mins apart and gets backed up quickly. It has great potential.
I only play it now when there is a very cheap deal.
Terrible Conditions for a holiday
Been there a few times this year, but it just gets worse. Tee times 6 minutes apart on a holiday, grass not cut prior to the holiday. We shouldn't be losing balls in the fairway. Waiting on for the group in front of us at the tee box, 8 minutes past our tee time, while 2 other groups waited behind us.
HUH??
Well the fairways were green and the rough brown, but the fairways were 2"hihg and the rough was scalped. The tee boxes were full of holes, not divots, holes. There was no roll in the fairways and it might not ever stop in the"brown" area.Used to be a nice course. They really need to get it together
Sad
Needs a lot of work, friendly staff as usual but needs time to get in better shape
Huge Disappointment
The course was in horrible shape. Tee boxes were very patchy throughout and uneven. The fairways were a little better but grass was patchy, too with lots of weeds and dandelions. The greens were at least fairly uniform and was in the best shape on the course.
Hugely disappointing because the course has a nice layout. Management seems to have let it go the past couple of years.
Nice Day to Sit in a golf cart
Got a deal for the round for my wife and I. So what I thought was fantastic price for my wife and I to golf on way home form an over night trip. The best thing the great price did was make it easy to walk away after the 12th hole. They had an outing that was still teeing off the last several foursomes as our 11:02 tee time came and went, was probably 1135 before we teed off. The outing had lots of younger newer golfers it appeared, not that we are pro's, but the fact they were not doing a scramble to help these newer golfers keep pace of play going was beyond crazy. Every single hole was usually waiting for two foursomes to tee of in front of us. Made the turn, thought about leaving then, but figured maybe now that the outing should be getting done, would clear up a bit. Took 20 minutes waiting to just tee of the tenth. by the time we were teeing off for the 13th hole it had been an hour since we teed off on the tenth. Somehow the delays seemed to get worse rather than clearing up. at that point and facing an hour drive the rest of the way home, for the first time ever we walked off the course mid round. Every single shot was essentially a waiting game, no way to get in a groove, seemed like every shot was the first of the day. People in the clubhouse and bar, cart girls, all the employees were great and apologetic. But what was supposed to be a nice wrap up to the weekend with absolutely perfect weather, turned into a frustrating and exhausting day of sitting in a golf cart for the better part of 5+ hours to complete 12 holes.
Need a ranger
There was a ranger cart sitting there but no one managing the playing tee times. We arrived 20mins early and there was already a back up with 4 other groups waiting to tee off and by time we tee'd off there were 4 more groups waiting behind us. The group ahead of us was so bad/slow it took them a half hour to play the 1st hole. We bypassed them and skipped hole 3 because they took forever. Thank god we did or we would have had a 6hour 18 hole round. A ranger should have been out there managing their speed and rushing them along. It caused a lot of frustration for all the groups behind us too. Had a good round after that. Grass conditions were mediocre at best. Many dead spots, spotty greens and fairways. Plus side they had great food!
Don’t Do It
Tee boxes destroyed, no map of course on scorecard, greens with patches of dirt on them. You also can’t distinguish between the fairway and rough. Big waste of time and money.
dry day lots of roll
Likes course layout need to water tboxes hard and lots of baked dirt fairways and greens in good shape course is fun
