Great Course
Great course, in great condition for early season here in MI. Played twilight, teed off at 5:36 and got through 15 holes before sunset at about 8:15 so I would say pace of play was pretty great.
Great Course!
Course in excellent shape for late fall. Greens were punched but to be expected in November. Staff very friendly!
Nice course, slow play
I’ve played here about 15-20 times and a little over half of the times the play has been extremely slow regardless of the time of day. It’s a nice course and the staff is friendly for the most part but they really need to implement a better system when it comes to tee times. If not, put more rangers out to actually help speed up play.
Better than I remembered
It’s been a few years since I’ve played here but it was in great condition.
Salem Hills
Course was well kept, and had nice carts. The course layout was nice, but isn’t too challenging on the front 9. Back 9 gets tougher, but isn’t anything crazy. Overall, it is a well melts course and enjoyed playing.
Brutal pace of play
Sending people out every 7 minutes is ridiculous. We waited at every hole except one the ranger told us we were a “ half a hole behind “ and to pick up the pace.
The course was in pretty good condition. Nice greens.
Fun track
1st time playing in Michigan in years and played with my son so we only played 9 holes. Liked the layout, greens were in great condition. Good driving range, staff was great.
Would definitely play again next time I come home!
