About
The Myth Golf & Banquet used to be known as Beaver Creek before a major renovation in 2007. The former course was transformed into a scenic 18-hole championship golf course and a nine-hole, par-3 course. The courses were redone from the tees to the greens, one major improvement was the removal of all artificial tees. The 18-hole golf course has a traditional but challenging design that is still playable for all skill levels. The short course offers great practice for beginners and it's gentle enough for juniors. It's a good layout for families to play, but more advanced players can also enjoy a fast, casual round of practice. The Myth has a scenic location adjacent to Lake Orion, it sits on protected land that provides a home to a variety of wildlife. Sandhill cranes can often be seen throughout the golf course.

Pro shop staff needs to be trained
I get that it was a random warm front in February.
But it’s absolutely ridiculous to have two women in the pro shop. Gossiping and complaining about the clientele and not giving out the necessary information to the paying customer.
No professionalism. I didn’t even know we had to play the back 9, twice. Until we had teed off.

Great course but
The course was great but only the back nine was open so we played that twice funny no info was offered till we were fully paid & at the course definitely will do more information gathering before booking on golf now not a

Quite a surprise
Buying this as a hot deal and not expecting much. The course was quite challenging and very well maintained.
The course is in very good condition with many improvements to the cart paths and taking out the steps on #5. The owners are doing a great job. The green on #6 is impossible if you get above the hole but could probably be leveled out some to make it more playable. The traps are in better condition than most in Oakland County that I have seen this year. Thanks.
