Devil's Ridge Golf Club

Played Devil's Ridge in the late afternoon and it couldn't have been better! The course has a beautiful layout along with great views of the land and wildlife. Playing the course for the first time, I was a little worried but the course rewards good shots with some scoring opportunities. There are some tough holes (#9 - uphill into the wind, #12 - extremely uphill and into the wind) but others that let you score (#13 - handicap 1, birdied it). The only downside is #10 (weird layout) and got stuck behind a senior men's league on the back 9.

Overall, I thought the course was awesome and will definitely make it a course that I will play numerous times during the upcoming summer.

Dollar for dollar this is absolutely the best course within 100 miles! Tee to green they always keep everything well maintained...the rough was a little long but to be expected because of all the rain. But the greens hold approach shots and roll very nicely. No matter what yardage you play it from....plays fair but tough!

I got a great deal on Golfnow for $12 dollars. The course is in very good shape. The greens are quick and have alot of break. The course has some non-traditional holes. Some of the par 4's require you to lay up off the tee. You have to make some blind shots. There are some 90 degree dog legs. Some of the holes have significant changes in elevation. The course is easier the second time around.

4 of us played for under $25 and easily a $50 + course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

Great location tucked in the woods, plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Challenging course in excellent shape, my favorite course when I'm at home. Never seems to be too busy or too backed up, good pace most of the time. Rates are very good as well.

All in all a very "fun" course to play. Some VERY scoreable holes and some very tough holes! One hole that will make even the best shake their head after(#10). With a perfect drive from the tips you can hit short iron into a couple par 5's(#3 and #11). Not perfect and you can look at double. Play late in season and you can skip your trip to the orchard. Apples everywhere!!

It is a beautyfull piece of property, but unfortunately the course was designed by someone that doesn't know anything about Golf or Golf Course Design. It's unfortunate and a waste of nice property.

I had heard about this course and am so disappointed that I waited so long to play it…I will play this course as many times as I can before this season is over and will look forward to playing it again for many years to come. I will definitely introduce this course to all of my friends.

Nice course. Played here 5 6 times before. Never a problem. Slow play is ruining the game.

This club has a staff that knows the value of service to succeed in the golf industry today. ALL STAFF are super friendly from the moment you arrive, and are very welcoming. They truly appreciate you spending your time and money at their club. The conditions are always well maintained and is by far the best golf value in Michigan! Even more so, if you live in Canada! Some Canadian clubs could take a lesson on service from this group. The GM and Head Pro should be congratulated and take great pride in their staff for making it as it should be.

Fairways and greens were in excellent condition, and the course presents a pleasant variety of looks and challenges. Good balance between challenging and forgiving layout. Enjoyed the day.

What a layout !!! Every thing you want in a Golf coarse. Beautiful scenic views. Challenging ! Well groomed,plus lots of fun to play. And the greens are a putting DREAM ! Don't miss out on this adventure Treat yourself. You won't regret it !

Really liked playing here was tough but alot of fun

Course in very good shape. Very good challenge. Lots of wildlife. Accuracy is a must, so if you not accustomed to playing in the fairway or hitting greens try another course because you will lose a lot of balls and be searching. Some blind shots and blind tees. Greens a pleasure and very fast.

Everything about the course that is maintained is perfect..beautiful greens that don't play too fast or too slow..I would recommend this this course to anyone who likes a good challenge and beautiful scenery...only thing is dislike is the setup of some of the holes #10 specifically

Course is very good especially if you're looking for a challenge. Hole #10 is brutal!

Most courses have a few memorable holes, this one has MANY!
Breathtaking approaches and tricky sloped greens.Very tight fairways on many holes.
I highly recommend this course but would not play it too often as you have to be precise with your approaches , otherwise three or even four putts are inevitable.
Lots of elevation so play with someone who knows how far the approaches play.
Don't expect low scores the first time out even if you are striking well, wind can be challenging and unpredictable ( which I love ).
